Melania’s Ex-BFF Slams Former First Lady for Promoting Her ‘Tchotchkies’ While Hurricane Ian Was Destroying Florida

As Hurricane Ian demolished much of Florida, former First Lady Melania Trump had her priorities straight: She was busy selling her new Christmas ornaments on Twitter, The Daily Mail reports.

To begin with, Melania tweeted a link to a Tech Times story just after 3 p.m. Wednesday to promote her holiday collects and NFTs for charity. Right about the same time thousands of terrified Florida residents watched the massive hurricane tear their homes apart by what is now considered one of the largest hurricanes in U.S. history.

Ian struck with 150mph winds and 12-foot waves, resulting in ongoing flooding and very likely, hundreds of casualties.

Really, the timing of Melania’s tweet about the article which is titled “Crypto Watch: China is World’s Blockchain leader and NFTs on the Rise with Apple, Melania Trump” couldn’t have been worse.

And Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Melania’s former best friend and also former senior advisor said she wasn’t the least bit surprised that Melania would be tweeting something this superficial while a tragedy of this magnitude bore down on Florida.

“Just when I thought the Trump’s couldn’t go any lower. As we witness the catastrophic devastation in Florida, our former First Lady Melania Trump is focusing on selling Tchotchkies and rehashing something she herself said about Christmas but claiming otherwise,” Winston Wolkoff said.

“Did she not listen to herself trash Christmas? It’s appalling that Melania is grifting off of Florida’s tragedy in order to remake her image,” she added.

“Hundreds of people are faced with loss of life and Melania Trump wants to sell you digital Christmas ornaments for a roofless house that lacks electricity.”

That wasn’t all Winston Wolkoff had to say.

“This is Melania…she is out of touch with reality and out of touch with the needs of people. For Melania, it is all about money and attention. Nothing, absolutely nothing has changed about her.”

“It took me years to accept that Melania does not care. She doesn’t care about reuniting split families, she does not care. Period. And it’s sad that a person in her position of power cared so little about so much,” Winston Wolkoff said.

Melania finally retweeted a message from USA Memorabilia in which she referred to the hurricane, even though the tweet wasn’t in her own words.

In the days after announcing her Christmas ornament collection, Melania sniped at Winston Wolkoff, claiming her former friend had edited the recordings to make it appear as if she didn’t like Christmas.

It’s just short of two years, in fact, since we heard the former first lady say on tape: “Who gives a f*ck about Christmas stuff and decoration? But I have to do it.”

Winston Wolkoff told Daily Mail she can back up the fact that Melania did indeed say this.

“Melania is absolutely deluded if she thinks she can justify what she said about Christmas.”

“Tell me, how does one edit that statement? You can’t make this stuff up. Nothing in those audio recordings were diced or sliced. Nothing was edited,” Winston Wolkoff said. “They speak for themselves.”

Referring to her book Melania and Me, she chalks this up as a really poor attempt by the former first lady to gin up publicity.

That seems likely. Melania is tone-deaf to these kinds of situations, as we found out when she was doing a photo shoot while a mob attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

It’s quite lovely that we don’t have her and her husband in the White House anymore, isn’t it?
