MTG Falsely Claims Students Who Identify as Cats are Allowed to Use Litter Boxes in High School

Last January, GOP nutball Meshawn Maddock by Michigan GOP co-chair Meshawn Maddock helped spread the cockamamie lie that there were students at a Michigan school who identified as cats and therefore preferred to use litterboxes in school bathrooms. You may remember Maddock for her role in the state’s fake electors scandal. A school superintendent smacked this ridiculous rumor down, but by that time equally nutty “LibsofTikTok’s” own Chaya Raichik had already sent the ridiculous rumor into orbit.

Now Marjorie Taylor Greene has taken up the bit and is like a dog with a bone. She made a brief appearance Saturday at Donald Trump’s latest “Save America” rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The 10,000-seat arena was filled with Trump zealots and those who support his picks for Pennsylvania’s senate and governor, Mehmet Oz, and Doug Mastriano, LBGTQNation reports.

During a pre-show interview at the Mohegan Sun Arena, Greene brought the crazy once again by dragging out a pair of long-debunked myths. The sad thing is, that she never realizes just how foolish she sounds.

Greene was being interviewed by the Right Side Broadcasting Network when she chugged right along with the correspondent’s story that centers around a Texas school where officials supposedly added a litter box option in one of the school’s restrooms for kids who identify as cats. With a laugh, the interviewer said “I thought it was from the Onion,” but then launched right anti-transgender rhetoric, calling it “absolutely true.” Greene was more than happy to respond.

“If some students want to pretend like a cat and use a litter box after school, that’s their prerogative, but the school and school resources and the other students and teachers should not have to be put through that because it’s a lie.”

“We have to reject them,” Greene said of these imaginary students pretending to be of the feline persuasion. “It’s not about people’s feelings. It’s about the truth and rejecting the lies and we have to stand up.”

Greene seems incapable of discerning truth from lies. She swallows the most ridiculous things hook, line, and sinker and hangs on every word Donald Trump ever says without question.

And while she was at the rally, she continued her anti-trans rhetoric, which she fired at the Biden Administration’s assistant secretary for health, Dr. Rachel Levine, the country’s highest-ranking trans official.

“How do you guys feels about Dr. Rachel Levine?” Greene shouted to the audience.

“That’s a man, not a woman,” said one person. “We know the difference,” said another.

Then she attacked and misgendered Levine, saying “He supports children having sex change surgeries. This is what (John) Fetterman supports,” Greene said about the Democratic candidate who’s running for Pennsylvania Governor. “I don’t think that’s mainstream, do you? It’s child abuse.”

For the record, Levine doesn’t support minors having gender-affirming surgeries. But being wrong has never fazed Greene she keeps going right ahead no matter what.

From there, Greene went into some of her other greatest hits: Biden stole the election.

“President Trump won the 2020 election,” she shouted to a happily screaming audience. “That’s right. We know President Trump won.”

That was followed by “Wind turbines will plunge us into darkness,” “Biden has ripped open the borders,” and “You better bet we are going to fire Nancy Pelosi. I’ve never liked her anyways.”

Then she took a jab at Dr. Anthony Fauci, favorite target of conspiracy theorists everywhere, saying that if Republicans retake the House: “He thinks he’s gonna retire. Let me tell you something. I think the man belongs in jail.”

The crowd screamed its approval.

It’s amazing to me that anyone can be this gullible and believe this equally gullible woman. She’s about as useful as used cat litter and just as odoriferous.
