Watch as Rallygoers Start to Boo and Jeer as Trump Says There Will ‘Never Be Another Fair Election Again’

“The only way I can lose is if it is rigged.”

Trump, 2020, closing out all possibility that he would admit to a defeat.

One thing we know, IF Trump runs again, and IF he wins, it will be a 100% legitimate win, even if he loses the popular vote by 10 million (entirely possible). If the election win results in a massive popular vote loss, Trump will blame it on “cheating” by having “illegals” vote. If Democrats were that good at organizing a nationwide plot, why wouldn’t we spread “illegal immigrants” throughout Texas and Florida? Why waste those non-existent votes in blue states? Is there any place where one is less likely to find an undocumented immigrant than a government polling place where many are asked for I.D., and all are asked for their address?

Trump infuriated much of the nation, including even some of the MAGAs at the rally! When he said he doubted that the U.S. would likely ever have a fair election again. From Mediaite:

“I don’t believe we’ll ever have a fair election again,” Trump said. “I don’t believe it.”

The remark was met with murmurs and even some scattered boos by the crowd in Michigan. One of the candidates Trump was supporting on Saturday — Republican Michigan gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon — has herself refused to commit to accepting the results of the 2022 election. And she’s one of a growing number of Republican candidates across the country undermining the credibility of the 2022 vote. Arizona’s Blake Masters, Alaska’s Kelly Tshibaka and Ohio’s J.D. Vance are just a few of the statewide party candidates around the country who are refusing to commit to accepting the 2022 results.

There is a measure of irony to Trump’s effort to undermine future elections in that — at this moment — he is currently holding a massive lead in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Though recent surveys show Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) gaining, Trump still holds a commanding lead in 2024 GOP primary polls. So with his comment on Saturday night, he — in effect — is discrediting an election which he’s currently on track to win by an enormous margin.

Yeah, maybe against the other Republicans. Trump will not enjoy a “massive win” in the general election. He is far more likely to lose even greater than before if he even gets that far, given possible criminal charges. It is the impact on his fellow MAGA-Republicans that will ruin the legitimacy of democracy in America. Once the vote is no longer trusted, the only way to pick leaders is “the strongest one wins.”

And that is why there were some boos. Even at a Trump rally.
