Candace Owens Reveals Just How Mean and Rude Trump Was to Her, and it Made Her Realize He’s Vengeful, Paranoid, and Lacks Humility

For the longest time, Daily Wire host Candace Owens has supported former President Donald Trump. But the noted conservative/anti-vaxxer has finally had an awakening — of sorts.

In her opening monologue last week, Owens, in the aftermath of the midterm elections, said Trump has become really rude to her and that’s led her to question for the “first time” what kind of person Trump really is, Business Insider reports. Now, mind you, Owens once described Trump as “the savior” of the free world and even defended him after he “actually got upset” with her after he defended the use of COVID-19 vaccines during an interview.

As I mentioned before, Owens is an anti-vaxxer. But even so, she defended Trump after the December 2021 interview on Instagram by saying people forget “how old Trump is” and that he comes from a generation that “came before TV, before the internet, before being able to conduct independent research,” (I guess Owens doesn’t know what libraries are for).

And The Daily Beast reported on this, adding the headline: “Candace Owens: Trump Is Pro-Vax Because He’s ‘Too Old’ to Understand the Internet.”

In her Daily Wire monologue, Owens discussed her “personal story” regarding Trump’s rudeness because “it’s something that made me for the first time question him as a person.”

Trump, she said, twisted a “completely fair and kind interview.”

“That is not being a leader, that is not owning things that you did wrong, that is not owning that you misunderstood something about your base,” Owens said. “That’s not growing, that’s not developing.”

It was at this point, she said that the former president was “not listening” and it made her wonder if he was becoming “too angry.”

I’m glad Owens finally figured this out. She’s obviously an intelligent person who, as the CEO of the now-defunct Degree 180, a marketing agency where Owens posted regular blogs that were anti-conservative. Amazingly, she even sharply criticized strictly conservative Republicans writing about the “bat-sh*t-crazy antics of the Republican Tea Party,” adding, “The good news is, they will eventually die off (peacefully, in their sleep, we hope), and then we can get right on with the OBVIOUS social change that needs to happen IMMEDIATELY.”

In her blog, she also speculated about Trump’s pe*nis size, and she wasn’t particularly flattering about it.

So, what happened to this poor woman? Why the drastic change? Not only is she an anti-vaxxer, but she’s also a believer in conspiracy theories and now, a devoted Republican.

Just a few days ago, she had this to say on her program:

Trump has run for President three times, and Owens noted that in earlier times when he ran, he was “having fun,” and “the energy, it was electric,” but added that wasn’t the case after the 2020 election because he is now in an “angry space” and has turned paranoid.

“He was so rude to me,” she repeated on her show.

Owens didn’t fail to note that conversations are being held behind Trump’s back that should go public. She said he is “holding on to a vengeful spirit” and was dubious about whether he has a vision for 2024. “It needs to be more than ‘I’m back,'” she concluded.

She also touched on his attacks on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is seen by many Republicans as a viable alternative to Trump. Owens said she could tell Trump is feeling “trepidation” because he’s swiped at DeSantis in recent weeks. In a fusillade of posts on Truth Social, last Thursday Trump described DeSantis as an “average Republican governor,” and of course, came up with the silly “DeSanctimonious” nickname.

And of course, several of the 330 Trump-endorsed GOP candidates running for state and federal offices went down in flames during the midterm elections, a reminder that many Republicans are actually sick of Trump, perhaps because of his constant bragging even in the face of loss.

But Owens also said Trump needs to learn to use “a little more humility” when he makes mistakes, especially since the midterm elections, where Democrats held the Senate, shows that Trump and his followers are “not sure.”

It would be nice if Trump learned to show humility, but I’ve been writing about this man since 2015 and I can tell you it’s definitely a word that isn’t in his vocabulary. He doesn’t know the meaning of the word. He’s not a man that will ever change.

He’ll never learn.
