Melania Accuses White House of Rearranging How She Decorated Private Quarters and She’s NOT Happy About It

Well, if there was ever a first-world problem, this is it.

Melania Trump is angry and has slammed the White House Historical Association for its new guidebook on the executive mansion, claiming it shows only a small amount of her restoration work and that “her deliberate styling of the furniture and accessories was significantly rearranged.”

Hmmm, maybe her “deliberate” styling was awful? And the White House Historical Association, who knows the White House and its interior better than anyone, changed it so it would align more with the history of the People’s House?

The 60th-anniversary edition of “The White House: An Historic Guide”, which was released July 28, offers readers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of life in the White House, including coveted photos of the private rooms on the second floor where the president and first lady lives.

According to the Daily Mail [1], even though the photos were taken last fall during Joe Biden’s administration, many of them feature the styling work of Melania Trump, who claims that preserving the White House was one of her primary responsibilities when she was the first lady.

The Yellow Oval Room, the Queens’ Bedroom and the Center Hall in the upstairs residence were among those rooms Trump refurnished that are featured in the guidebook.

However, Melania Trump claims that the photos don’t “accurately reflect her work and that of the designer she collaborated with, Tham Kannalikham.”

In an exclusive statement to the Daily Mail, Melania said, “Unfortunately, the 26th Edition of The White House: An Historic Guide fails to accurately represent the breadth and detail of Mrs. Trump’s design work in and around the White House.”

Melania Trump’s office also said that her layout and styling of the furniture was “significantly rearranged.”

“Preserving the history of the People’s House for future generations was something that Mrs. Trump was very passionate about and took very seriously. She and her design team worked tirelessly to beautify the White House, but only a small amount of their creative execution adorns the pages of this book. In fact, her deliberate styling of the furniture and accessories was significantly rearranged throughout the book’s images,” her office noted.

But Melania didn’t specify the changes or what furniture had been rearranged. The former First Lady said she was documenting her restoration work on January 6th, 2021, when MAGA supporters stormed the Capitol building to try and overthrow the election.

The book also shows areas of the White House that people rarely see.
