Don Jr. Humiliates Himself Once Again After He Falls for Parody Twitter Account
Donald Trump Jr. was apparently duped by a parody Twitter account that called for Aretha Franklin’s song Natural Woman to be banned, and as you might expect folks on the social media platform are having fun at his expense, The Independent reports.
It all began when The Trans Cultural Mindfulness Alliance (TCMA), based in Oslo, Norway, posted that the 1967 hit was “offensive to trans women,” and should be removed from Apple and Spotify. The account later noted the tweets were “satire.”
“There is no such thing as a ‘natural’ woman,” per the post, which added that it “perpetuates multiple harmful anti-trans stereotypes” and that it has “helped inspire acts of harm against transgender women.”
While the original post appears to have been deleted, TCMA also posted this:
Thank you @DailyMail for covering our request for this song to be removed from streaming services.
A bit disappointed that no one reached out to TCMA for comment.
We hope to be able to speak to you in at some point in the near future. https://t.co/WZvIG9CcMV

Even though the post was satirical, the suggestion that the song should be banned upset lots of folks on Twitter, including Junior.
“I stand with Aretha Franklin. I stand with classic, American, legendary songs,” Trump Jr. said in a video shared to social media.
Lawyer Ron Filipkowski tweeted that Don Jr. “has become the latest right-winger to fall for the Norwegian parody account’s post demanding that Apple and Spotify remove Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman.

“Doesn’t he claim to be an executive? Doesn’t he have a company to run? Who has the time to rant about anything and everything that trends on Twitter? Oh. Right. A useless rube,” posted Twitter user Matt Flammable.

Who has the time to rant about anything and everything that trends on Twitter?
Oh. Right. A useless rube.

“It’s hilarious how hard he’s trying to imitate dad. His little mannerisms and speech nuances…anything to make daddy love him!” noted Jason Cirillo.

When Franklin died in 2018, then-president Trump tweeted “I want to begin today by expressing my condolences to the family of a person I knew well. She worked for me on numerous occasions. She was terrific.”
The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, is dead. She was a great woman, with a wonderful gift from God, her voice. She will be missed!

In a second tweet, he added “The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, is dead. She was a great woman, with a wonderful gift from God, her voice. She will be missed!”
But Don Jr., in his video rant responding to the TCMA tweet, attacked the “woke mob.”
“Now they have to attack the song Natural Woman. But I’m told folks, I’m told that trans women are women. Right?” he said. “They can breastfeed, they can get pregnant, they can do all of the things that a woman can do.”
“A biological male playing in women’s sports is a natural woman playing in those sports, right? So now they have a problem,” Junior said.
“Think about that for as second folks, someone who was a ground breaker in music, probably one of her best-known hits, everyone knows it. Everyone knows the song, but you know what, makes them feel a little uncomfortable, folks.”
Now that the Franklin Post has gone viral, the person behind the TCMA account has stepped out and insists this is a parody.
“This is a parody,” the unnamed person told iHeartRadio. “Never imagined anyone would take it seriously lol.”
The person added this was a comment on “woke” culture and “media stupidity.”
And in an interview with The Daily Mail, reinforced their statements by saying, “It is satire, there’s no actual TCMA that I’m parodying. It is a commentary on the state of the ‘woke’ movement in general.”
The account, having added, then removed the words “PARODY/SATIRE” from its bio, now describes itself as being founded in “January 2023 exclusively by trans individuals promoting cultural changes to ensure the inclusivity of trans individuals. If you think it is a parody, it is.”
Here are more funny responses to Junior’s clueless tweet:
American music…Norwegian parody…Colombian powder…closet internationalist.
