‘Great Gangster’: Americans Stunned After Trump Favorably Compares Himself to a Mobster
So Donald Trump is on another one of his bizarre rants on social media. In other words, it’s another day, so it’s another example of weird behavior from Trump.
Earlier Monday, Trump brought up a rhetorical question, asking readers if they now understand why he trusted Russian President Vladimir Putin over his own intelligence officers. And to put even weirder icing on this cake, he followed this up by comparing himself to the “great gangster Al Capone,” Mediaite reports.
He went on to use an equally weird juxtaposition by adding another comparison in his victimization-fest. He believes that all of the investigations and inquiries into his behavior are the result of weaponized law enforcement and are all part of a concerted effort to bring him down.
So now he believes he has “more lawyers working for [him] on this Corrupt law enforcement induced Bull…. than any human being in the history of our Country, including the late, great gangster Alphonse Capone!”
“Because of the Weaponization, Targeting, and Unprecedented Harassment, I believe that I have more lawyers working for me on this Corrupt Law Enforcement induced Bul…. than any human being in the history of our Coutry, including even the late great gangster Alphonse Capone! This is all being done for POLITICAL REASONS in that I am leading everybody, Republicans & Democrats, by big numbers in the Polls. The Disinformation Specialists are at it gain, fulltime. The Fake News is their TOOL.”

Perhaps most of you remember Robert DeNiro’s brilliant performance as Al Capone in the Untouchables. It was truly unforgettable, but there’s one thing Trump seems to have forgotten — Capone was eventually taken down over tax evasion.
Perhaps someone should remind him of this.
Twitter had some thoughts:
We can become numb to the level of his derangement, but this one is quite special.
Trump whines like a lunatic & amazingly compares himself to & feels bad for Al Capone (!), who he calls the “late, great gangster”—a murderous maniac who finally went to prison for tax evasion. pic.twitter.com/f1pEZlZ8q3

Trump comparing his plight to "the late great gangster Alphonse Capone!" is peak dementia in action. He incriminates himself as he mindlessly thinks he's being shrewd. When he's indicted by DA Willis, his fake campaign will disintegrate. He'll melt down & more enablers will flee.

Trump is an emboldened sociopath. This Capone reference is a confession. He is dangerous. https://t.co/V1Yoy9tLrf

Bribery, narcotics trafficking, robbery, “protection” rackets, and murder. For authorizing approximately 400 murders, not to mention 3 people he personally murdered with a baseball bat. Imprisoned in Alcatraz. Died with a syphilitic brain. And Trump thinks Al Capone was "great."⬇️ https://t.co/p5drhzbYQS

Trump comparing himself to Al Capone is just so ridiculous. He's committed far more crimes than Capone, he's not even in the same league.

Anyone who's studied history knows Al Capone ruled a criminal empire complete with bribery, tax evasion, narcotics trafficking, robbery, protection rackets and murder, so why Trump has compared himself to the "late great Al Capone", today is beyond me. What's he think is great?

Capone was taken down by the IRS.
Trump will be taken down by a porn star.

Never before in human history, a man of such unquestionably integrity like Al Capone Trump aka #PutinsPuppet has been accused of wrongdoing by so many unrelated liars who had zero credibility.
Politically motivated, witch hunt, a hoax, fake news… History’s greatest victim. pic.twitter.com/XDftn4So0P
