MAGAs Think ‘Silk’ Used ‘Diamond’s’ Funeral to Send a Secret Message to Trump

Many of the MAGA faithful are convinced that influencer Rochelle “Silk” Richardson of “Diamond & Silk” fame was attempting to send Donald Trump a secret message when he spoke Saturday during a ceremony to commemorate the life of her sister, Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway, The Daily Beast [1] reports.

So what is the supposed message Silk was purportedly conveying to the former president as she spoke [2] at her sister’s funeral? A plea for Trump to quit pushing COVID-19 vaccinations.

Speaking for nearly an hour, Silk recounted Diamond’s final moments as 150 people listened on.

“She said to me, ‘I can’t breathe.’ It was something out of nowhere and no warning,” Silk said. “Each breath was less and less and less.”

“What I want to say to everybody is don’t you dare call me a conspiracy theorist. Because I saw it happen. I saw how it happened,” she explained as Trump was sitting on stage. “I was there when it happened, and it happened suddenly.”

The Trump-supporting pundit is calling for an investigation into “why people are falling dead suddenly,” and it looks like she was referring to the phrase “died suddenly,” [6] which is gaining traction among the far-right. It’s a bogus claim that purports the vaccines are causing sudden deaths from blood clots.

Diamond and Silk visit Trump in the Oval Office

Practically as soon as Silk suggested her sister died due to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, the flying monkeys among the right wing have been lambasting Trump for pushing to produce the vaccines en masse.

“The message is simple. Nobody needs to overthink this. The injections and the ‘virus’ are weapons of biowarfare, and it’s time to indict, try and fry those responsible for the deployment of these weapons of mass destruction,” far-right radio host Stew Peters told [7] The Daily Beast.

And of course, suggestions like this also point some of the blame on Trump. Peters didn’t fail to notice that.

“If Trump’s ego won’t allow him to admit this out loud, he’s equally as complicit as Tony Mengele Fauci,” he said.

“Everyone knows Diamond and Silk were some of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters. And everyone knows Trump was pushing this bioweapon on the entire country,” Peters said in conclusion, asserting Silk’s plea wasn’t a “cryptic” or a “secret message.”

Peters wasn’t the only right-winger to up the cray-cray while taking potshots at Trump.

“Silk reveals Diamond died suddenly from what appears to be a blood clot in her lung,” said nutty [8] Pizzagate spewer Jack Posobiec after the memorial. “Silk stood right in front of Trump and told him the vaccine killed Diamond, and there needs to be an investigation into why people are suddenly dropping dead,” he said.

An autopsy wasn’t performed on Diamond and Silk hasn’t really said if her sister, a vehement anti-vaxxer ever even received the vaccine. On Monday, The Associated Press reported [10] Diamond’s death certificate listed her cause of death was due to chronic heart disease caused by “chronic high blood pressure.”

Other nutters, like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), are also increasing the craziness. She responded to Silk’s remarks calling for “an IMMEDIATE investigation into Covid vaccines and the dramatic increase of people dying suddenly!”

“Diamond or Silk (don’t worry, nobody knows which is which) just died from the vaccine,” right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos [13] posted on Telegram. “She was murdered by pharmaceutical companies and Donald Trump.

And those comments are mild when compared to others, especially on Telegram. Far-fetched theories surrounding Diamond’s death sprouted like weeds on the social media platform. A favorite one refers to a Diamond and Silk clip from mid-December. In that clip, Diamond said she smelled something that had allegedly been sprayed into the air, leaving her short of breath.

“There will be no way to stop this from happening,” said former Newsmax host Grant Stinchfield on Twitter. “82 percent of Americans fell for the mass vax attack on America.”

The first batch of COVID vaccines was developed under the auspices of the Trump administration, and the former president has been encouraging people to get vaccinated. And Trump is doing something right for once and isn’t backing down from his administration’s role in developing and distributing the vaccinations.

“After China unleashed this deadly virus onto the rest of the world, President Trump and his administration worked tirelessly to secure medical equipment to save the lives of Americans who were infected,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told The Daily Beast Monday. “Operation Warp Speed was a once-in-a-lifetime initiative that gave people the option of utilizing therapeutics if they wished to do so.”

So it’s welcome news when Trump finally gets something right. And whatever the anti-vaxxers choose to obsess over, here are the cold, hard, facts. [16]

In the two years since the inception of the United States vaccination program, the COVID-19 vaccination is credited with saving 3 million lives and preventing 18 million hospitalizations. Despite [Christopher] Key’s absurd medical claims, the science has been clear: There is little to no evidence to support the theory that people are dying from the vaccines.

Key, another anti-vaxxer, insisted that Diamond had “taken the vaccine, and we know [that] for a fact,” suggesting she may have died from myocarditis or a heart attack.

“Trump is an idiot for bringing this bio-weapon to market,” he told The Daily Beast, “he will have killed a billion people.”

To borrow [17] from satirist Andy Borowitz, “Earth is endangered by a new strain of fact-resistant humans.

“These humans appear to have all the faculties necessary to receive and process information,” Davis Logsdon, one of the scientists who contributed to the study, said. “And yet, somehow, they have developed defenses, that for all intents and purposes, have rendered those faculties totally inactive.”

“More worryingly, Logsdon said, ‘As facts have multiplied, their defenses against those facts have only grown more powerful.”

Sure this is funny, but unfortunately, it’s also true.
