Trump’s First Big Event of His 2024 Campaign Was So Small it Was Held at … a High School Auditorium

This is an odd way to start an article, but screw the New York Times. They have helped Donald Trump so many times over the years it’s downright sickening. Helping Trump while hurting Hillary Clinton and then Joe Biden. And today they wrote an article that we will use as a source, because they are the New York Times, but just the headline is infuriating.

The NYT headline is “Trump Tries a New Campaign Tack: Small-Scale“. Aww, how cute!

Except Trump does NOTHING small scale unless he has to. Everything Trump does is BIG, BIGGER, BIGGEST!!! The biggest of all time! The biggest that people have ever seen, they are still talking about it! They even had tears in their eyes when talking about it!

Remember, Trump had the BIGGEST building after 9/11 (gross), he had the largest inauguration of ALL TIME (a lie), and he even bragged about the size of his penis during a presidential debate.

The NYT makes it sound like Trump wants to start small, when we all know the truth. He can’t get people to show up for him. He’s poison. He’s a criminal just waiting to be charged. No one wants to hook their wagon to that mess except the most crazy on the right like Marjorie Taylor Greene. Heck, even his former press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders wouldn’t endorse his campaign.

Trump isn’t the host of the Apprentice and the big NYC businessman anymore. People know him. And let’s be honest, he’s in bad shape. His business was found guilty of fraud, his tax returns were made finally made public, he was caught having dinner with anti-Semites, and he got so desperate he had to sell pathetic NFTs. It appears many in the GOP now see him as the fraud us Democrats have known him to be since 2015.

Which leads us to the point of this article.

Trump officially kicked off his 2024 campaign on Saturday, the campaign he announced over two months ago, in Salem, New Hampshire. While in New Hampshire, an important early primary state, he addressed an annual state party meeting at a local high school. Then Trump traveled to South Carolina, where instead of ranting to thousands at some large arena, he simply spoke at the state Capitol.

Trump held his first event at a high school auditorium. How quaint. But Trump doesn’t do quaint. Crowd size is one of his favorite topics and he has managed to get huge crowds in the past. But not now. He’s booking high school auditoriums. Salem High School has about 1100 students, so the auditorium is probably fairly small. And that’s what Trump booked for his first event of his 2024 campaign.

Members of the Proud Boys New Hampshire were out side Salem High School before former Donald Trump’s speaking engagement.

According to Politico, Trump spoke Saturday to some 400 GOP activists — a contrast to the arena-size crowds he commanded in the run-up to the 2020 election.

“I have two years,” Trump said to cheers. “I’m more angry now and I’m more committed now than I ever was.”

Trump is more angry. Great, just what this country needs, more anger.
