Perhaps Donald Trump Jr. is trying to buy into the current nepo baby [1] craze since he launched a new show on Rumble, Triggered With Don Jr. on Monday, Uproxx [2] reports. Things started out with the stability of a drunk, three-legged horse pulling a ton of rocks. Don Jr. is a true daddy’s boy and he ranted for a solid hour about…who really knows?
But this time around, Junior did show some self-awareness becoming noticeably insecure about how things were going. He grew desperate enough at one point to ask his fiancee, Kimberly Guilfoyle, for reassurance after realizing he’d been running off at the mouth for nearly the full hour.
And Kimberly obligingly took that opportunity to throw him right under the bus, Raw Story [3] reports. Well, hey what’s a future spouse for anyway?
“Trump Jr. then introduced his ‘boss,’ namely his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, to which he asked, ‘was that okay?’ in reference to his performance.”
“I actually love it,” she said.
“It was like an hour rant,” Junior replied.
“This is what you do at home and now everyone gets to see,” she joked.
Junior said his new show will be devoted to “free speech and diversity of thought,” which really means little more than it will be another one of his usual ramble-fests.
Uproxx notes:
“As for what that means, well, expect such stimulating conversations as, ‘Boy it’d be great if my dad still had [4] the nuclear codes,’ and ‘Wokeness: [5] The real school-shooter, amirite?”
If you’re a fan of rambling, motor-mouthed rants on subjects that don’t have a clearly discernible point, this show is for you. And if you’re lucky, you’ll even get feedback — not necessarily the kind you want, but maybe the echo chamber that suddenly began emanating as he and Guilfoyle talked back and forth.
