Short King Ron DeSantis Masks His Insecurities by Bragging About His Hot Wife
What is it about wives of MAGA politicians and their inalienable “right” to adorn fashion magazine covers? We went through five years of listening to Melania, and other MAGAs complain that she never secured her dream, never mind being FLOTUS! What about that f’ing Vogue cover?
Now Ron DeSantis is whining that his wife Casey has not yet been put on Penthouse… I mean People, or Vogue, or Cat Fancy, I don’t know which one he expected to come swooping in. Perhaps the MAGAs need to start their own fashion magazine… omg that’s funny if you think about it in a mean way.
Now, it is okay for me to say this because I’ve already told my dream wife (she has different dreams) that I find Casey DeSantis ridiculously, almost rudely, attractive on the outside. Fortunately (or unfortunately), she is uglier inside than DeSantis is, both inside and out.
But there is a lesson that conservatives just don’t seem to understand.
When it comes to magazine covers, whether it’s People, Vogue, Cat Fancy, or Penthouse, the publishers are under no obligation to plaster covers with people that they do not like. There is no “equal time” thing with respect to print media.

Perhaps if DeSantis’s policies (which are very much shared by Casey) were not so ugly and horrific to women, LGTBQ, Hispanics, Black Americans, women, etc. he and she might be likable enough to capture a clip on “Us” magazine or something.
Until then, they’ll need to either get used to being too hated (due to being so hateful) and either start MAGA Vogue (Can’t stop laughing at the thought) or change their policies such that they’re less hateful!
Desantis says his wife is being treated unfairly: “If she were a Democrat, she’d be on every fashion magazine. They would be making her to be the biggest deal.” pic.twitter.com/c8gSCl6aMC

*Oh, Twitter had fun with this one…
desantis values having his wife on fashion magazines. I’m sure it has more to do with his own ego. It’s pathetic to think her best attribute is her physical appearance. But, he would know, I guess. Telling.

He is just a candidate, she a governor's wife. What makes him think she should be on magazine covers other than that he loves her? They are not that important to the fashion world.

I can’t think of any gubernatorial spouses (male or female) who have graced the cover of a national magazine. I do think that it would be great if someone put MI Governor Gretchen Whitmer on a magazine cover though.

Pro tip, DeSantii: Before you start whining about this, you have to get elected. And even then, don't start whining about this.

The real problem is that her look was too conservative and outdated decades ago. She isn't cutting edge — she's overdressed and ultra-covered-up, as though she was afraid to show her elbows, much less her ankles …

Fashion magazines choose people that will sell their magazines. Americans are just not that into her. Most women find her selling out our gender as unappealing. Imagine that.

Nothing screams “fashion magazine cover” like Cosplaying as a birthday party rent-a-Disney-princess. 😂 pic.twitter.com/y82fYa2ITv

Dear Ron,
Stop trying to make Casey happen.
Sincerely,

The Disney Princess look of long gloves and gowns during the day is great for kids at playtime, but not for adults. I don't think any fashion magazines are interested in a Disney or Handmaid's Tale cosplay fascist.

Well maybe if she weren't betraying her fellow women by promoting the subjugation of women …… ya know.
