First, let’s set something real straight:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton already faced a plethora of well-established allegations of misconduct. But he may have cinched his impeachment Friday night. Without elaborating on details, GOP Rep. Charlie Geren, a Republican on the investigative committee, said that Paxton had called lawmakers last night and threatened them with political “consequences.”

Whoa, bro. Add another element to the articles of impeachment, oh – to go along with these, as found unanimously by the Texas Legislature. From NBC News: 

The impeachment accuses Paxton of attempting to interfere in foreclosure lawsuits and issuing legal opinions to benefit Paul. Its bribery charges allege that Paul employed the woman with whom Paxton had an affair in exchange for legal help and that he paid for expensive renovations to the attorney general’s home.

This is a guy who more than deserves to be impeached.

As every reader knows, it takes one hell of a lot to turn Republicans on Republicans, and yet that’s exactly what happened in Texas, and it is more likely than not that Paxton will be impeached and removed from office for damned good reasons.

But Donald Trump isn’t interested in principles. He is interested in transactions, damn it! And Ken Paxton is a good guy because he listens to Trump, so no matter what he might or might not have done, Texas shouldn’t impeach him because he’s a good guy – he likes me!

And this was the video of Phelan being “drunk”. Apparently, he wasn’t drunk, just tired. His staff and the people around him said he had been standing there and working and speaking for over 12 hours and was just exhausted. Now, it sounds weird, he definitely sounds like he could be drunk…but later in the evening he was reportedly speaking just fine.

Oh, and that was just the beginning!!

The RINO Speaker of the House of Texas, Dade Phelan, who is barely a Republican at all and failed the test on voter integrity, wants to impeach one of the most hard working and effective Attorney Generals in the United States, Ken Paxton, who just won re-election with a large number of American Patriots strongly voting for him. You would think that any issue would have been fully adjudicated by the voters of Texas, especially when that vote was so conclusive….

No, not if the voters had any idea as to what he was really doing and they don’t elect Democrats in Texas, so that’s that.

He went on:

….I love Texas, won it twice in landslides, and watched as many other friends, including Ken Paxton, came along with me. Hopefully Republicans in the Texas House will agree that this is a very unfair process that should not be allowed to happen or proceed—I will fight you if it does. It is the Radical Left Democrats, RINOS, and Criminals that never stop. ELECTION INTERFERENCE! Free Ken Paxton, let them wait for the next election!

You love Texas because you won it in two landslides. We’ve noticed that you never went to the state of Washington, Colorado, Illinois… You love Ken Paxton because he’ll do whatever you want. The difference between a “Republican” and a “RINO” is that a Republican will do whatever you want!
