Well, isn’t this a sight to see, and I only wish we saw it more often! Donald Trump loves to post photos of him with law enforcement officers, with him calling himself the “law and order” president. Of course it is sickening, that these officers would shake the hand of a man under federal indictment, but they must have their reasons. And of course Trump doesn’t have the same affinity for Capitol officers, but that’s for another day.

Today we watched as over a dozen law enforcement officers lined up on the tarmac of an airstrip, waiting for their turn to shake hands with the almost thrice-indicted, twice-impeached, one term loser former president. Well, all of them shook Trump’s hand, except for one brave soul.

At the back of the line stood a military K9 handler who did not shake Trump’s hand nor make any physical contact at all, but instead seemed to shout something as he brushed by the former twice-impeached one-term president. It did not look like a friendly greeting. Maybe the officer knows Trump hates dogs? Where is a lip reader when you need one?

Now of course there could be a reason he didn’t shake Trump’s hand that had nothing to do with hating the man. We just don’t know until a statement is put out, or we know exactly what the officer said to Trump. So we can’t guarantee it was a refusal to shake Trump’s hand, but it certainly looked that way? The leash was in the handler’s right hand, so maybe he couldn’t move the leash to the other hand and shake? I don’t know, it just seems if the K9 officer wanted to shake Trump’s hand, he would’ve found a way to make it happen.
