Humiliated and Sleazy Rudy Says He’s ‘Going After’ Hutchinson After She Claimed He Groped Her

Rudy Giuliani is embroiled in an entirely new set of problems — Cassidy Hutchinson, formerly an assistant to Donald Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has alleged in an upcoming book that he groped her on January 6, 2021. During an appearance on Newsmax, he branded these claims as “absolutely false, totally absurd” and suggested he is “thinking about going after her and the publication.”

Giuliani, the former New York City mayor, was responding to the allegations in her book Enough, which is scheduled to be published by Simon & Schuster in late September, Newsweek [1] reports.

Hutchinson showed up on the national radar in 2022 when she gave explosive evidence to the House committee that was investigating the attack on Congress by a violent mob of Trump supporters on January 6, 2021, that tried to prevent the certification of Joe Biden as the nation’s next president.

At the time she claimed Trump opposed efforts to make sure his supporters weren’t armed before the rally and added that he later grabbed the steering wheel in a moving vehicle after his security detail refused to drive him to the Capitol. Trump continues to deny both claims and has called Hutchinson a “total phony,” adding that the allegation that he attempted to grab the steering wheel is “ridiculous.”

In the excerpts of her book, which were published by The Guardian, Hutchinson brings up the elephant in the room, claiming that Giuliani accosted her on January 6, inside a tent that was being used as Trump’s de facto command center.

She writes:

“Rudy wraps one arm around my body, closing the space that was separating us. I feel his stack of documents press into the small of my back. I lower my eyes and watch his free hand reach for the hem of my blazer.

Well if true, that’s kind of icky, isn’t it? And it seemingly didn’t stop there.

“‘By the way,” he says, fingering the fabric, ‘I’m loving this leather jacket on you.’ His hand slips under my blazer, then my skirt,” Hutchinson writes. “I feel his frozen fingers trail up my thigh. He tilts his chin up. The whites of his eyes look jaundiced. My eyes dart to (Trump aide) John Eastman, who flashes a leering grin.”

“I fight against the tension in my muscles and recoil from Rudy’s grip[…]filled with rage, I storm through the tent, on yet another quest for Mark [Meadows].”

Giuliani rejected Hutchinson’s claims during his Newsmax appearance, describing the allegations as “completely, absolutely false.”

He went on to say: “She claims that I groped her in a tent on January 6 where all the people went in that were very, very cold as a result of the president’s speech, etc. I’m going to grope somebody with 100 people?”

“First of all I’m not going to grope somebody at all, and number two, in front of like 100 people? Plus, that day I had extra security and I had my entire staff around me virtually all day as I took them to the speech as kind of a reward for all the work they did.”

“So I took 10 people to the speech and they were with me virtually every moment that I was there and, if I wasn’t talking with them, I was taking pictures with people, so there would have been no occasion for this to happen. It’s completely absurd.”

Giuliani also claimed he had “plenty of witnesses to this one” and was “thinking about going after her and the publication.”

Meidas Touch, which describes itself as an “unapologetically pro-democracy” media outlet posted a clip of Giuliani’s interview, which I’ll post at the end of the story. I’m going to note that this isn’t the first time [2] Giuliani has allegedly harassed a young woman. He’s currently being sued by Noelle Dunphy, a former employee of his. Dunphy is suing him for alleged “sexual assault and harassment, wage theft, and other misconduct,” and is seeking $10 million in damages.

Giuliani has always seemed slimy after that fun incident where hair dye ran down his cheek and that embarrassing Borat 2 segment. I’m sure he’ll never live that down. Let’s make sure that’s true as I post it under the Newsmax clip.
