Marjorie Taylor Greene Went All The Way to Florida for a Book Signing, and it Didn’t Work Out Very Well

I truly do not doubt that the reading comprehension level at a biker bar in Ormond Beach, Florida is more than sufficient to enjoy all the wit and wisdom surely contained in Marjorie Taylor Greene’s new book, MTG.

Her book signing was to be held in Kissimmee but was canceled after it was reported that the event was a celebration of the January 6 attacks.

So, off to Ormond. And she was awfully proud of the turnout for the signing that was funded by Bikers Against Trafficking.

It turns out, however, that her book signing was little more than incidental — the main event was a fundraiser for RD Club 40, a nonprofit doing a poker run with B.A.T. to raise money for sexual abuse victims.

And even that was only actually attended by about 100 people, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal.

Many astute observers pointed out that this was what the book signing actually looked like:

That paints a little different picture, doesn’t it?

It was a very rough day for MTG:

The Georgia congresswoman says that her book “focuses on the behind-the-scenes stories of the Jan. 6 incident including visits to jailed rioters.”

She is also still a firm believer in the hilarious myth that the election was somehow stolen:

I am not sure about the 2024 election because President Trump is going to win, and if he doesn’t, I don’t know if I will certify the next elections either. You shouldn’t be shamed into saying that an election wasn’t stolen and you want it proven to you that it was stolen. It’s like customer service — they owe it to us to prove it that it was not stolen.

There were a few protesters at the event, although they of course did not pay to get in. They stood outside with a sign that read “Republicans Against Marjorie Treason Greene.”

“I believe in the Constitution, all of the Constitution not just the Second Amendment. I believe Marjorie Taylor Greene committed treason and she is not a real Republican,” said one of the protesters.
