Lara Trump may as well do an unauthorized cover of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister and try to make it about poor innocent conservatives standing up to big mean liberals.
Of course, Dee Snider’s still alive, unlike the other guy she stole a song from, so he’d sue her into the ground.
Lara, the wife of middle Trump child Eric — AKA “the dumbest Trump” — hosts a podcast called The Right View. Much like her ripoff of Tom Petty’s song “I Won’t Back Down,” which was about him getting robbed, she has turned the word “Right” into “conservative” instead of “correct.”
For some reason, likely the same as the reason she married “the dumbest Trump,” Lara elected to take questions online during her latest episode.
One brave soul wrote in and asked, “Is Lara Trump as stupid as she appears to be?”
It turns out the answer is yes, because her response was off the rails.
“Oh! This is a nice one, ‘Is Lara Trump as stupid as she appears to be?’ What is it that—that’s stupid? Let me ask you that, sir or ma’am. I am — again, I say this all the time, I’m just giving you information and the facts. What is stupid is voting for a party that hates you and hates this country. What’s stupid is voting for a party that ultimately wants the destruction of America and I assume you are one of those people. Nothing stupid over here. I’ve actually done my research, I actually have the real information, I am actually not influenced by emotion but cold, hard facts.”
While that’s all pretty good evidence of her actually being stupid, the things that stand out for me are the things SHE says are stupid.
Democrats are the party that hates people? Democrats are the ones who advocate for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights and Republicans are the ones who outlawed abortion and even IVF treatments, and are trying to re-outlaw gay marriage.
Democrats want the “destruction of America”? It doesn’t even matter what she meant by this, whether she meant the environment or democracy itself, Republicans are the ones denying the climate crisis and restricting voting rights.
I don’t actually think she’s done any research at all.
