Trump Hysterically Tries to Pass Himself Off as a ‘Brilliant Young Man’ and it Backfires Spectacularly

After yet another night of watching Trump go off the rails on social media [1], we’re left to wonder how much of his mind he’s retained.

When Joe Biden dropped out of the race, Trump was catapulted into the position of “oldest presidential candidate in American history.” That distinction was previously held by Ronald Reagan, who was already out of office by the time he was the age Trump is now.

While most of the world prefers to send out their short messages via Twitter, Trump still prefers the platform that he owns, Truth Social. And eagle-eyed commenters on Twitter (X) follow him over there, and bring the funny back to those of us who don’t care to swim in the Truth Social septic tank.

One such internet pundit found Trump’s latest rant, where he tried to speak lies into truth, giving us hilarious results.

Trump’s original rant reads:

“Lyin’ Kamala Harris, the Biden appointed “Border Czar” who never visited the Border, and whose incompetence gave us the WORST and MOST DANGEROUS Border anywhere in the world, has absolutely terrible pole numbers against a fine and brilliant young man named DONALD J. TRUMP! Be careful what you wish for, Democrats??? MAGA2024″

First of all, Kamala was never the “border czar”, that was a name the GOP made up:

Okay, now let’s get this out of the way:

That’s not me mistaking a survey of popularity with a thing a firefighter slides down in Trump’s brain every time his pants catch a building ablaze. That’s pure Trump gold, right there. That post is just amazing, in a “Trump is such an idiot” way.

But the part where he pretends we can’t see his liver spots? Really, Donnie? A “fine and brilliant young man”? Give me a break. He could literally be Kamala Harris’ father. He is fooling exactly nobody.

I could call myself a hip ladies’ man with the charisma of a late-night radio DJ, but we all know I’m a politics dork who gets excited whenever I come across a hilarious story like this one.

The reason I think it’s so funny when Trump says stuff like this is that he really makes it hard for us to tell if he thinks we’re that stupid, or if he’s actually delusional enough to believe that himself.
