Melania Trump’s Finances Revealed and She Makes a Ton of Money for Doing Absolutely NOTHING

When Donald Trump released his latest financial disclosure report, one thing became eminently clear: His wife, Melania Trump knows how to haul in the dough. She’s definitely made quite a career out of it.

All presidential candidates are required to file disclosure reports, and Melania’s earnings and investments were listed as part of her husband’s report, MailOnline reports.

Melania is paid a mint from her speaking fees, properties in New York and Slovenia, which she rents, and her non-fungible token (NFT) licensing agreement. One sizable chunk of the revenue listed is a $237,000 speaking engagement paid for by the Log Cabin Republicans in April 2024. The event was a $10,000-a-ticket fundraiser that Melania hosted at Mar-a-Lago. She also hosted a separate fundraiser for the LGBTQ+ Republican group in July at the Trumps’ apartment in Trump Tower. However, there is no payment listed for this event.

While it can be said that many people have unfortunately slut-shamed the former first lady, it can also be safely said that she certainly knows how to turn a dime, like women in a certain degrading and dangerous trade.

The documents also list Melania as earning $330,607 for a licensing agreement with Designers Manager for the sale of NFTs. After the former first lady left the White House, she launched an NFT site, where the collections go for $150 a pop and include digital renderings of her likeness.

And now Melania has founded her own company, MKT World LLC, to accommodate her speaking engagements and the sale of her NFTs.

The disclosures also show that she’s real estate savvy and has a burgeoning property portfolio. In New York alone, her real estate properties are valued between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Then there’s the properties in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where her earnings range from $500,001 and $1,000,000.

She’s also shored up $250,000 in a savings account, the documents note. And Melania is back to avoiding the public eye, having not been seen since her appearance at the Republican National Convention last month. MailOnline reports she didn’t address the delegates, but instead sat in the audience to listen to her husband accept the Republican presidential nomination.

She’s also set to release her memoir Melania this fall. The memoir will be filled with “personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public,” according to her office. The book will come in two editions โ€” a pricey $150 collector’s edition, with each copy signed by the author. The memoir edition will be 304 pages and available for $75.

The memoir is scheduled for release by Skyhorse Publishing, which has published Trump supporters like former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz. Melania has, of course, been the subject of a slew of biographies but Melania gives her the chance to tell her own story. It’s not clear if she worked with a co-author or if she’ll accompany the book’s release with a book tour.

Since Donald Trump is elderly and going downhill fast, perhaps Melania is protecting herself for that time when he’s gone. She’s being sensible but also greedy at the same time.

And that’s the thing about Melania โ€” she loves money. That’s always been true. But slut-shaming any woman is insensitive, and when one woman is slut-shamed, we are all slut-shamed. Years ago I had a bumper sticker that read “No one is free when others are oppressed.”

I emphatically believe it. Don’t get me wrong. I dislike Melania. She can’t count me among her fans, but this habit of slut-shaming women we don’t like needs to stop. It’s disgraceful and diverts our attention away from the real issues that should be dealt with. Call her greedy, because that’s what she really is.

This has been a common theme throughout Trump’s presidency and it is still problematic. We post funny memes about Donald’s hair, Don Jr.’s dumb comments, and whatever other minutiae is happening at the minute, and while the memes are humorous, they distract from the very real problems at hand.

There. I’ve said my piece. Make of it what you will.
