Trump Blatantly Steals Beyonce’s Song — the SAME ONE Kamala Is Using — Prepare for Beyonce to Destroy Him
You already know the cease and desist is coming.
It sure didn’t take long for the Trump hypocrisy to hit this time. At his rally in North Carolina mere days ago, Trump claimed that Kamala Harris was “stealing his idea” to stop taxing tips for tipped workers.
Now Trump is stealing from Kamala, in a much clearer way than simply promoting an idea that many politicians have had.
Trump’s campaign spokesman Steven Cheung — a rude, cowardly windbag like Trump himself — just posted a video to X that shows Trump’s plane touchdown and him deboarding in Michigan. The theme song that plays in the video? Beyonce’s hit song “Freedom.”
Now, come on. There is absolutely not one person on the planet who would believe for a second that Beyonce gave Donald Trump or his campaign permission to use her song, even in an unofficial capacity.

You know who DOES have permission from Queen Bey herself? Kamala Harris. She gave the Vice President permission to use the 2016 hit almost immediately after it was announced that Kamala would be taking Joe’s place in the race.
And use it Kamala has. She used it in her first campaign ad, and she walked on stage at the Democratic National Convention to the same song. She’s used it a number of times in between.
So why the use by Trump? Well, that campaign long since decided that it’s easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission. And in fact, they don’t really ask forgiveness either. They’ve been hit with cease and desist letters and lawsuits from a growing list of superstars, including Neil Young, Adele, Rihanna, and even the Rolling Stones.
The family is no stranger to stealing popular artists’ work and using it for their own purposes. Nobody will ever forget Lara Trump’s pitiful take on the Tom Petty classic “Won’t Back Down,” which she turned into a pro-Trump song. So many desperate Republicans streamed it that they accidentally made her think it was good (it wasn’t) and so she released an acoustic version of it as well.
But this is just as ironic as Trump posting an Alanis Morrisette parody on his Truth Social account. To accuse Kamala of copying him, then turn around and use her literal theme song?
That’s just low class.
