Trump Humiliates Himself When He’s Busted Staging Yet Another ‘Pizza Delivery’ With EMPTY Pizza Boxes

There are plenty of memories of hilarious campaign stops where candidates have tried to pretend they knew what they were doing for a photo-op. They want a chance to look “normal” and it goes completely awry.

Either they’re clueless about the task, or it’s so clearly staged that they can’t help but look like an idiot.

No one can forget that time Paul Ryan got caught washing clean dishes at a soup kitchen. There was the time at the North Korean border when George W. Bush tried peering through a pair of binoculars with the lens caps still on.

There’s Michael Dukakis in a tank.

There are any number of cringe-worthy pictures of preening, podium-born pretty boys posing for their adoring fans. But it’s rare that we actually get to see video of a presidential candidate trying to fake something as obviously as Trump just did.

It’s bad timing for the former president to get called out on something like this. There was already talk of the assassination attempt at one of his rallies being staged. It hasn’t even been a week since he was accused of pretending to help a woman in the crowd at another rally who had fainted.

But now it looks like he’s barely even making an effort to hide the fact he desperately needs to be seen as a good guy. He has a lot of ranting tweets and stupid nicknames to make up for.

And he seems to have a thing for pizza.

If you run a group called “TrumpForce47” (which bills itself as “the official army of volunteer neighborhood organizers working together to defeat Kamala Harris and the far-left liberal Democrats”), chances are your troops are hungry. They need a LOT of pizza. We’re talking college championship football team levels [1] of fast food here.

Enter Pizza Delivery Guy Donald Trump.

And if there’s not already an adult video parody of that, there should be soon.

Trump walks in to the strategy room carrying two pizza boxes to “deliver” them to his famished squadron of exhausted enlistees. The problem is, it looks like he’s already had a slice himself, because the top box is open. No worries, we’ll just stop for a quick photo here, and then… put them on this table that already has ten other pizza boxes on it, visible right behind him.

TOTALLY real, right? Nah, some clown handed him a couple of boxes and told him to stand still for a minute after he came in the door. I mean, it’s not him grinning and giving a thumbs-up at an actual dead soldier’s grave [2], but it’s pretty bad.

Social media activists PatriotTakes posted stills from the video of Trump waltzing in with the already-open boxes, and in fact, further down the thread you can find more pictures [3] from the event, where Trump is waving the boxes up and down. Was he cooling them off? Announcing their arrival? We may never know.

What we do know is that he pulled this same idiotic act [4] back in May. In another catastrophic photo-op, Trump carried two pizza boxes to some firefighters in New York that were confirmed to have already been delivered, brought outside by a staffer, and handed to Trump to fake the dropoff.

He even did the stupid waving them around thing.

Who knows how cold the pizza was that the brave fighters of the 47th Campaign Infantry were TrumpForced to choke down?

Maybe the funniest part to me was the glee with which the original poster of the video put it out there for everyone to see. He was PROUD of his presidential candidate. He didn’t even pause for a moment to consider how foolish this makes Donald Trump look. The former president is disrespecting not just voters, whose intelligence he clearly doesn’t think much of, but freaking pizza delivery people.

In reality, despite its reputation as a job for stoners and teenagers, delivering pizza can be a hard, thankless job. Entitled people sitting at home fuming that you’re 90 seconds late — there goes your tip, young man! — and gas money and the care with which you ACTUALLY have to handle the steaming hot pies…

If pizza boy Brandon in Milwaukee waves around two large pepperoni like that and gets the toppings stuck to the top of the box, that’s his job on the line.

Leave it to Republicans to both think this was a good idea, and to celebrate it like it was some kind of success. You can watch the video below and decide for yourself.
