No wonder Trump believed the “Haitians eating pets” story. He’s apparently a lot more stupid than we had been giving him credit for.
It’s one thing, however, for Trump to pick up on a story about a town in Ohio that was just told by his running mate — who’s from Ohio — at a rally and assume it’s true.
It’s another thing entirely to repost a conspiracy theory from an OnlyFans model on his Truth Social account. The absolutely off the rails TikTok video from Samantha Gangewere shows her making the video while driving her car:
“So, I just left my nail salon, and my nail tech — so, I’ve been going there for like 15 years, so they’re like family to me. Um, but they said that their one cousin is in South Philly, and listen to this. She’s getting paid seven hundred dollars a week to go to wherever Kamala’s campaign tells them to go to. So that’s a hundred dollars a day, seven hundred dollars a week. And she’s not even a citizen, she can’t vote. But she wants that extra money, so that’s why she’s doing it, so, their campaign is getting a bunch of people — that’s why you see these people on the side of the roads with signs, whatever, going to these protests, they get travel paid for and everything, and they’re not even able to vote, so they’re just standing there with signs for no f*cking reason for a hundred dollars. I can’t. I had to share with you guys.”
PHEW. That was something. There’s not even a tl;dr version [1] of this, so let me sum up: Sam says that her nail tech’s illegal immigrant cousin is getting paid almost two and a half times the minimum wage in Pennsylvania plus travel expenses by the Harris campaign to hold a sign.
If that were only a two-week operation, and Kamala did it in just the 7 swing states with only a hundred people per state, it would cost her campaign $980,000. For people who can’t vote, so she’s not even buying VOTES, you guys!
And that doesn’t even include the lavish travel expenses, complete with hotels, no doubt. God knows Kamala Harris wouldn’t just make her illegal immigrant fake supporters sleep on the streets of the far-reaching places they’re surely tasked with going. Rental cars (or at least bus fare), food, the list goes on.
We’re probably up to TWO million dollars at this point.
They had to have focus-grouped this, right? Like, this woman who used to be a DA in one of America’s largest cities, then the Attorney General of America’s most populous state, then a Senator, then the Vice President of the United States surely sat down with some experts to see how well such a scheme might play out.
Right?
Okay, I’ll stop with the sarcasm. The point is, there are two possibilities here. Either Samantha the OnlyFans model and Donald Trump the snake oil salesman are both exceedingly stupid, or… They think you are. And that second option kind of echoes the first, really, because other than Samantha, Trump, and anyone who would vote for him, NOBODY is that stupid.
I have been writing about Donald Trump for nearly 8 years now, and I have never once heard anything as stupid as this. This is beyond belief.
Incidentally, I don’t keep mentioning the OnlyFans thing because I necessarily think sex work (or anything adjacent) is not legitimate work. I just think that OnlyFans is the laziest work you can do. You can find OnlyFans models who make a living showing people their toenail clipping collection, because there are weirdos everywhere.
Anyway, back to Trump. This post is still up [2]. He still believes this.

You can really tell how trustworthy Samantha is by the tone and tenor of her posts on social media, and how demure she looks in her photos [6]. Plus, anyone with the job title “Social Media Influencer” is required to tell the truth, aren’t they?
Oh, wait, I was going to lay off the sarcasm.
She is still very committed to the story, however. Earlier this week on X, she posted that anyone who thinks her story is fake is an idiot, so I guess that answers the question from earlier.
