For most of us, the scenes from January 6, 2021, just four years ago when Joe Biden was being certified as the winner of the 2020 election, are indelibly etched on our brains. It’s impossible to forget, but in case you have blocked out the memories of the actual visuals from that day, here’s a reminder.
I’m going to post this video every day so we never forget what Trump and MAGA did Jan 6 2021 and what Dems are NOT doing today!

It was a horrible day, and very nearly the end of democracy, if not for a handful of Capitol police who risked their lives to prevent Trump-worshiping terrorists from taking over the halls of the US government and possibly executing the Vice President of the United States.
And this weekend, Donald Trump threw a party about it. You know, with the anniversary right around the corner and all.
Saturday night, Trump held a secret all-star jamboree of insurrectionist lawyers to celebrate the creation of that insurrection. He not only repeated the same old lies, but amplified them and crafted worse ones. There was no press allowed, no transcript, so all of this information comes from the account of one or more attendees who were horrified by what they saw.
MSNBC hosts on The Weekend were absolutely disgusted, and they didn’t hide it during their Sunday broadcast.
The event was held as a screening party for a documentary about John Eastman, the lawyer who was the architect of Trump’s illegal and unconstitutional plan to use Congress and then-VP Mike Pence to prevent and even overturn the certification of the 2020 election results.
The subject of the film The Eastman Dilemma: Lawfare of Justice was in attendance, and the Independent reports that “[other] election deniers were also at the event, including his former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former lawyer Rudy Giuliani and former trade official Peter Navarro, who helped devise a separate plan from Eastman’s to reject the 2020 results and later spent time in prison for being in contempt of the January 6 congressional committee.”
Trump told his guests at the party, as a montage of clips about Eastman played,
I’m a big fan of John Eastman. Y’know, he was right. He happened to be right. That’s why they changed the law and nobody wants to talk about that.
They said he’s not allowed to do it, he’s not allowed to do it, and they convinced him he’s not allowed to do it, our vice president, then right after the election they changed the law so he can’t do it.
Trump is, of course, referring to the Vice President’s ceremonial role, as president of the Senate, in certifying the vote. Trump and his lawyers, relying on Eastman’s shaky interpretation of the vague 1887 law that governs the process, tried to pressure Mike Pence to simply refuse to certify and instead count “alternate electors” chosen by Trump-supporting Republicans in certain states.
He wasn’t allowed to do it, but Congress did pass legislation — not changing the law in any way, but updating the language to clarify that the Vice President’s role is entirely ceremonial. It now says that the VP “shall have no power to solely determine, accept, reject, or otherwise adjudicate or resolve disputes” regarding the counting of electors.
Trump has already told America that he plans to pardon the terrorists who took over the Capitol.
MSNBC’s Vaughn Hillyard was up in arms. “Let’s be very clear, there’s no coincidence that this event in which he welcomed not only John Eastman, but Michael Flynn, and Jeffrey Clark – the man [who] urged the DoJ to put off all statements about the 2020 election – and they were up onstage, Rudy Giuliani was up onstage, and Peter Navarro, who spent time for not complying with the subpoena from the Jan. 6 committee, and they were watching a film that was a documentary about John Eastman.”
But Symone Sanders Townsend was perhaps the angriest of all the panelists:
Let’s just put a finer point on it. This is sickening! This is sickening, I am sick. Peter Navarro, Jeffrey Clark, the people that went to the Capitol to take up arms against the United States government, because the president at the time lied to them, that’s what happened.
Those are not patriots. What Donald Trump did last night is a disgrace to the country and Constitution, and the fact that they didn’t tell anybody about it lets you know that they knew what they were doing was untoward, and they wanted to do it anyway.
In case you’re not sufficiently disgusted by this anti-American party at the Florida White House, Political Flare will note that there were even more illustrious attendees that weren’t actually part of the plan, but are shocking to see on the guest list.
Incoming Secretary of State Marco Rubio was there, which doesn’t bode well for his position. And even more disturbingly, the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, was there.
Trump says he skipped dessert to come down to the ballroom at Mar-a-Lago to catch a screening of “The Eastman Dilemma” documentary.
He brought Italy’s prime minister, Giorgia Meloni with him to watch the film, which is billed as being about “how conservatives have been… pic.twitter.com/EqoFQ1kfWo [3]

Let’s underline this for a moment: Only one person is president at a time, and for the next two weeks, Joe Biden is still the president. For Italy’s Prime Minister to visit with Donald Trump in his home specifically to watch a documentary about Trump’s political grievances doesn’t do much to promote the idea that Italy was “liberated” from Mussolini — who Trump has idolized enough to copy his ideas.
