Watch Trump Treat Soldier Like His Personal Coat Check At Bush Funeral — Twitter Is LIVID

Today is the funeral for former President George H. W. Bush, and current “president” Donald Trump has already had a gaffe.

Trump and first lady Melania Trump entered Washington National Cathedral, then Trump handed his coat to a member of the military before sitting down beside his wife, who sat next to the Obamas on the end of the row. Next to the Obamas sat the Clintons and the Carters. The president and the Clintons didn’t exchange greetings, though both Trump and the first lady said hello to the Obamas.

Now, the soldier that took Trump’s coat was an escort, not Trump’s personal coat boy, and Twitter had some thoughts:

All living presidents were present at Bush’s funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., and Bush’s son and former President George W. Bush will offer a eulogy.

The Trumps paid their respects to Bush on Monday as he lay in state at the Capitol Rotunda until Wednesday morning.

After the funeral in D.C., the 41st president will be taken back to Texas and will rest at the Bush Presidential Library at Texas A&M beside his wife, Barbara Bush, and their daughter Robin, who passed away as a toddler from leukemia.
