Former Canadian Prime Minister on Donald Trump, ‘He Really IS a Motherf**ker!’

Former Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell joined freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib in using an obscenity to refer to Donald Trump.

“He really IS a motherf**ker!” Campbell said Saturday in a since-deleted tweet.

Campbell, an outspoken Trump critic, made her comment in response Trump’s statement last week that the only “security net” federal workers had during the government shutdown was hope of a border wall that would “keep them safe.”

Tlaib was sworn in to the 116th Congress on Thursday afternoon. That evening, she told supporters at an event hosted by the progressive advocacy group MoveOn that “we’re gonna go in and impeach the motherf–ker.”

Trump called the remark “disgraceful” and said that Tlaib “dishonored her family using language like that.”

Campbell defended Tlaib’s remarks, on Twitter, which drew a commentator’s sarcastic response that she should “stay classy.”

Campbell brushed that off in a follow-up tweet.

“Re these responses to my tweet- the obscenity is in the embedded tweet! If you don’t get the reference to the comment by Congresswoman Taib- can’t help you,” Campbell tweeted. “BTW I am MAGA compared to my pal, fmr Mexican Pres @VicenteFoxQue :)”

Campbell became Canada’s first female prime minister in 1993 when she was elected to replace Brian Mulroney as leader of the Progressive Conservative Party. Four months later, she lost a general election.
