Sarah Huckabee Sanders Tries To Troll CNN’s Jim Acosta on Twitter — Fails Miserably
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders attempted to bring the snark to Twitter on Thursday, but per usual, she failed miserably.
Sanders tweeted, “When I went with President @realDonaldTrump to the border today I never imagined @Acosta would be there doing our job for us and so clearly explaining why WALLS WORK. Thanks Jim!”

CNN’s Jim Acosta described the scene at the southern border as “tranquil” where part of a physical barrier is already in place ahead of Donald Trump’s visit. The White House correspondent, who often butts heads with Trump, showed the steel slats at the McAllen, Texas, area of the border in a video posted to Twitter and said that he did not see any sort of activity “resembling a national emergency situation.”
Conservatives seemed to believe that Acosta’s video proved that “walls work.”
Acosta’s response was perfect:
While I’m glad she didn’t doctor this video, unfortunately @PressSec is twisting the truth again. As we have been reporting today there are other sections of the border that don’t have walls or slats. Yet, the residents here feel safe. https://t.co/ueGbuldSBb

Twitter had some thoughts:
This is really pathetic trolling. If there is no national emergency, you don’t need to screw over a million or so Americans to demand funding for a wall. https://t.co/iRODyAMg0Q

This is somehow funny to you Sarah, or a joke? This is real and about real people and hundreds of thousands who aren't getting paid and as the spokesman for the President this is something to take so lightly? What the hell is going on up there?

He's clearly showing that there's no crisis. How about you tell the truth for once? Trump is either got some scandal on you or you're desperate for the money. Guess selling your soul was worth it…

Sarah no, you still haven't found other employment? Not even Trump has offered you a job on his campaign? Oh dear. Well these tips should help you out, look no further.

Ummmm…@PressSec doesn't seem to get it. Let me help out: What Mr. Acosta was showing in his report is that THERE IS NO CRISIS at the BORDER.
Sarah… there's NOBODY there.
Glad to be of service. https://t.co/iPl6VSFWZH
