Trump Just Starting Singing In His Most Insane and Unhinged Speech Yet
Donald Trump announced on Friday that he would be declaring a national emergency to bypass Congress and build $8 billion in barriers on the border, a big step toward his long-desired wall along the southern border.
Trump’s move, announced in a rambling, improvised address from the Rose Garden, will launch a fierce constitutional battle in the courts with lawmakers and outside groups opposed to his decision — which did win the public backing this week of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Trump is separately set to sign legislation approved by Congress that funds the government and prevents a new shutdown set to begin on Saturday.
But that legislation fell far short of his demands for $5.7 billion in wall funding.
Trump plans to redirect $3.6 billion in military construction funding toward the border project. Trump will also take separate executive action repurposing about $2.5 billion from the Defense Department’s drug-interdiction program and $600 million from the Treasury Department’s asset-forfeiture fund.

Trump railed about a bunch of different topics…China, the economy, and of course the wall.
Then when discussing how his travel ban faced a bunch of legal battles, Trump started to basically sing about it.
Seriously.
Trump's sing-songy recounting of the legal process is remarkable.

Twitter had a field day:
Oh good, a sing-song voice.
Meanwhile, Red Hats and transactional Trump-curious Republicans are APOPLECTIC that the Deep State was hatching a COUP PLOT YOU GUYS! when they mulled invoking the 25th Amendment. https://t.co/RY6rQYB1jr

I got as far as the f'n weird sing-song court thing. If this isn't Trump's version of drunk history, I don't know what is. Had to shut that off. No wonder I don't listen to him. He's as horrible as he has always been since the 80's. Who voted for that guy?#NationalEmergency
