WATCH: Trump Supporter Shoves Reporters and Pushes Over Equipment at Trump Rally in El Paso

Donald Trump’s first campaign rally of 2019 has come and went, and it wasn’t without controversies.

As usual, Trump railed about the “fake news” media, and slammed the press for not acknowledging what he has accomplished while in office.

He also claimed he used to get good press, at least until he ran for office.

Trump started off by saying his agenda was not “partisan” although some people think it is.

“And despite the fact that the media refuses to acknowledge what we have done and how well we are doing it,” Trump began, prompting the audience to boo.

“A new poll just came out as I was coming on,” he continued on before diverting momentarily to his press coverage.

“I don’t know how you can do this. I don’t think I’ve had a good story in years. I don’t get good press — I used to get great press until I decided to run for office,” the president opined.

He then returned to the latest Rasmussen poll showing Trump’s approval at 52%.

“And we have done together an incredible job. And a new poll just came out today. Rasmussen, one of the most respected polls, one of the polls that got the election right,” he told the raucous crowd. “So I have to remember that. You know what the number is? 52%.”

Trump often rails against the “fake news” media, which often leads his supporters to take matter into their own hands, which happened at the rally. A Trump supporter charged in the press box, and knocked over equipment and shoved reporters.

A video posted by Jorge Salgado, staff photographer for El Paso Inc. got the melee on video.
