Trump Just Complained About Democrats Taking Vacations Even Though He’s Going to Mar-a-Lago TODAY
Donald Trump lashed out at Democrats on Wednesday, urging lawmakers to return from their “vacations” and address a surge in illegal crossings at the southern border that the Trump administration says has become a crisis.
In a tweet, the president predicted that the number of immigrants illegally crossing the southern border would “only get worse” despite the efforts of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
“Democrats in Congress must return from their Vacations and change the Immigration Laws, or the Border, despite the great job being done by Border Patrol, will only get worse,” Trump tweeted, adding: “Big sections of Wall now being built!”

The tweet comes as the House and Senate are both in two-week recess for Easter.
Get ready for some irony.
Trump failed to note that Republicans are also on congressional recess, but that was far from the biggest oversight in his tweet.

As Yahoo News’ Colin Campbell was quick to point out, Trump probably won’t even be in Washington, D.C. if Democrats hopped a direct flight back to the Hill right now.
He’s seemingly headed for his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, presumably after he swears in his new EPA head at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Palm Beach Post discerned Trump’s unannounced trip via a Federal Aviation Administration notice on Monday that mentioned “VIP movement” in the area, while Palm Beach announced traffic restrictions starting Thursday morning. Trump has also spent the last two Easter weekends in Mar-a-Lago.
