Trump Launches Disgusting Attack Against Rep. Ilhan Omar, ‘She’s Very, Very Bad For Our Country’

Donald Trump is standing by his controversial video attacking Rep. Ilhan Omar using 9/11 footage after she reported a spike in death threats.

Trump on Friday tweeted a video that edited together comments made by Omar with actual, disturbing 9/11 video.

Omar had been facing criticism after describing September 11th by saying that “some people did something.” She said on Sunday she has received increased death threats since Trump’s tweet, with “many directly referencing or replying to the president’s video,” per CNN.

Trump also came under fire for using 9/11 footage in order to attack a political opponent.

In light of this, Trump was asked in an interview with KSTP if he regrets anything about the tweet, to which he responded, “No, not at all.” He criticized Omar again by saying she has been “very disrespectful” and that she has a “way about her that’s very, very bad, I think, for our country.”

He also contended that she is “extremely unpatriotic” and “doesn’t really understand, I think, life.”

Trump had previously renewed his attack on Omar following her report of death threats against her, tweeting on Monday that she is “out of control” and criticizing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for defending her.

Pelosi, who says she spoke with the House’s Sergeant-at-Arms to ensure Omar’s safety, slammed Trump for his comments, urging him to “take down his disrespectful and dangerous video,” per ABC News.

The president’s video is still up on Twitter.
