Donald Trump, Jr. Made a Terrible Joke About #MeToo Last Night and People Are NOT HAPPY

As Donald Trump Jr. took the stage at a campaign rally for his dad last night in North Carolina, he took a stab at the media and the anti-sexual harassment #MeToo movement.

After kissing girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, who introduced him to the Fayatteville crowd, Trump Jr. joked that she had consented to it.

“Kimberly, do you think the media’s gonna sue me for harassment since I just gave you a little kiss?” Trump Jr. said. “Notice, there’s no objection, ok. It’s on the record, alright. I will not be getting Me Too’d this evening.”

“Kimberly may Me Too me later but that’s a different story,” Trump Jr. said to laughter from the crowd.

Guilfoyle is a former Fox News commentator and currently serves as an adviser for the president’s re-election campaign.

This is not the first time Trump Jr. has come under fire for flippant remarks about the #MeToo movement. The Hill reported that in March during a discussion on gender identity, Trump Jr. responded to the comment about young boys using guns with “Hashtag Me Too.”

The #MeToo movement, which started nearly two years ago with the investigation into former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, has held men in positions of power accountable for harassment and assault.

President Donald Trump has had his share of scrutiny for making light of sexual assault. Last year he joked about the #MeToo movement at a rally, and he is also facing several allegations of sexual misconduct.
