Trump Tweets ‘Trump 2024’ Sign Hinting at Serving a Third Term and Twitter is Livid
Donald Trump tweeted a meme on Tuesday night that showed a campaign sign emblazoned with a “Trump 2024” slogan on it.
“Keep America Great!” is also written on the sign, which is decorated in the Trump campaign’s usual white and red colors.
Eight more years of Trump? A nightmare! Also illegal according to the Constitution.
The tweet, which did not include a message or any text, is the third time in two days that Trump has hinted he may want to extend his presidency beyond two terms.

Presidents are limited to two elected terms by the 22nd Amendment, which was ratified in the 1950s. Under the law, they are allowed to serve, at most, two years of another president’s term for a total of 10 years.
Speaking to reporters Monday alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino, Trump joked he would have to extend his term until the World Cup is played in North America in 2026.
“Gianni, we’re going to have to extend my second term because 2026 — I’m going to have to extend it for a couple of years,” he said.
“I don’t think any of you would have a problem with that,” he said, referring to the White House press corps.
During a campaign rally in North Carolina on Monday, Trump said, “We may have to go for an extra term,” after mentioning the 2026 soccer contest.
He then addressed the media, adding, “I’m only kidding.”
In his tweet Tuesday night, it was not clear if Trump was suggesting that he would run in 2024 if he did not win re-election in 2020. Or perhaps it could be referring to Don Jr.?
Regardless, Twitter was sickened:
14 minutes till the clock turns to the most solemn date in US History Trump tweets that he wants to be a 3 term President .

You are so desperate to change the conversation away from your disastrous polling numbers, you're terrible judgement in National Security Advisors, you're reckless weather forecasting, etc. We see you @realDonaldTrump – you're not fooling anyone. https://t.co/ompcMdxZ0W

Yet another joke about staying in office beyond the term limits prescribed by the Constitution. https://t.co/yREJOw26kA

Let me be clear. The President will claim this is a joke. But he wants to deny the Constitution and run the country for as long as he possibly can. https://t.co/BpXTb5xKVB

This is not a joke, or a troll. Malignant narcissists aren't emotionally capable of the empathy humor requires. Donald Trump has never told a joke in his life. He says exactly what he means. If there's an outcry, that's when he claims it was "just a joke," like bullies always do. https://t.co/IWVuNxduYe

In case you missed it last night, the President shared an image, again, promoting the idea that he wants a third term (prohibited by the Constitution.) He isn't joking, he's mentioned this a LOT now, I wish Congressional Democrats were even a tiny bit on top of their shit. https://t.co/QrERy9cHHW
