Donald Trump Jr. Says He Can’t be Racist Because His Girlfriend is Puerto Rican
Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle are in Pikeville, Kentucky on Thursday for Governor Matt Bevin and Dr. Ralph Alvarado’s election campaign.
Thus far, it’s been a pretty boring event, with very, very low turnout.
I mean, just look at this crowd!
Organizers have asked the audience to move out of the seats and closer to the stage ahead of Trump Jr/ Gov. Bevin event in Pikeville.
I think it's fair to say this is sparsely attended. pic.twitter.com/JghTohDROS— Ryland Barton (@RylandKY) August 29, 2019

Donald Trump Jr. speech thus far has been the typical Junior speech. Praising his father, Donald Trump is the best, yadda yadda.
But Trump Jr. also said something that was quite bizarre.
According to Kentucky Public Radio reporter Ryland Barton, Trump Jr. remarked that he couldn’t be a racist because he is dating a Puerto Rican woman.
Trump Jr says he's often accused of being a racist, but he "must be a really bad one" because he has a Puerto Rican girlfriend

Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host, has a Puerto Rican mother and an Irish father.
Still, this argument doesn’t mean Trump Jr. isn’t a racist.
After all, remember the Skittles incident?
Back in 2016, Trump Jr. tweeted an image that used the popular rainbow-colored candy to make a policy argument against admitting refugees into the United States.
“If I had a bowl of skittles and I told you just three would kill you. Would you take a handful,” the image read. Trump added his own commentary on the message, tweeting, “This image says it all. Let’s end the politically correct agenda that doesn’t put America first. #trump2016.”
And there was the time Don Jr. shared a racist tweet about Kamala Harris:

Our guess? Don Jr. is a racist.
