Kellyanne and George Conway are Arguing on Twitter and It’s AWKWARD
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway directly responded to his wife’s tweet on Monday, in a public escalation over their differing views about Donald Trump.
Kellyanne Conway had tweeted out a video of Trump’s rival Joe Biden discussing children playing with his leg hair, writing, “WATCH: Sleepy Joe is Creepy Joe. We need Ukraine’s help to defeat THIS guy?”
George Conway, who strongly opposes Trump, directly quote-tweeted his wife, responding, “Your boss apparently thought so.”

It is the first time George Conway has directly quote-tweeted his wife. The two have disagreed publicly about the Trump administration but have tended to keep away from directly confronting each other about it.
George Conway has told friends that he thinks that his wife, who has worked for Trump since before he was elected, is in “a cult.” Kellyanne has said that any power her husband, he derives from her, and has been very critical of media outlets covering their relationship.
Twitter had some thoughts:
This is either an incredibly scripted viral marketing campaign for "A Warning," or we're watching a marriage implode in real time. https://t.co/njlCP3QPgG

She can’t get mad at journalists who ask her about him anymore. They invite this into our lives. https://t.co/tLNeUPZB0K

He is saying this to his wife, KellyAnne Conway.
I don’t know what the deal is with their marriage, but I’m going to be pretty pissed off if this is all one long con by these two. https://t.co/KwrH5Zi16C

Not sure what would be worse, participating in this kind of political performance art or being totally sincere and staying married to the chief propagandist for the person you consider to be an existential threat to this country. https://t.co/QMSCAc4DXm
