Melania Trump Confesses: I Fell in Love with Husband Donald’s ‘Amazing Mind’

Back in early 2016, Melania Trump opened up to ABC News about what made her fall in love with husband Donald Trump.

She fell in love with her business tycoon husband for his “amazing mind,” “great energy” and his charm, the former model said.

“We have a great relationship,” Trump said in an interview with MSNBC.

And for some reason, she never brought up the fact that he was an incredibly rich man and she was a young model looking for a sugar daddy!

Though she’s rarely seen on the campaign trail or at the White House, Trump, 49, supports her husband “100 percent,” she said, even his controversial policies.

Trump, who emigrated from Slovenia in 1996, doesn’t believe her husband is extreme in his stance on immigration.

“I don’t feel he insulted the Mexicans,” Trump said of her husband’s plan to build a wall and the tough language he used in his presidential announcement speech about Mexicans. “He said ‘illegal immigrants.’ He didn’t talk about everybody.”

She also added that she followed the law in acquiring her visa, applying for a green card and, after a few years, becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen.

“So I went by the system,” Trump said. “I went by the law and you should do that. You should not just say, ‘OK, let me just stay here and whatever happens, happens.’”

As for the criticism and name-calling people hurl at her other half, Trump insists they are prepared for that.

“We have thick skin and we know that people will judge him and people will call names,” Trump said. “And they don’t give him enough credit.”
