I fumed on the way home, literally fumed, without knowing that it was twice as bad. Yesterday Lt. Colenel Vindman returned to his first day back, as the impeachment was over, no reason to keep him separated from the White House. Thus they fired him basically the first day they could.

That was horrific, a shot that will sicken even Republican senators – though we won’t hear about it, off the record they will fume, and cower.

But we could have predicted – and everyone did – that Vindman would be fired. Because this is Trump, who always goes well beyond the lines that normal people draw, he leaped across the line and lit up with that shit-eating grin. “What are you going to do about it?”

Vindman’s twin brother, who had done nothing but be Vindman’s brother, was fired, too. And yes, he – too was escorted out of the White House. As clear a sign as any: “You are the enemy now, we’ll ensure you can’t do a thing.”

“What are you going to do about it?” That is what Trump is telling the country out in the open.

That is in front of the press, in front of the American people, what is Trump doing behind closed doors. What deals does he have put together, just waiting for this freedom? Bolton said that he worried Trump was conflicted and made decisions based upon personal “favors” to dictators around the world.

That was all before Trump walked through impeachment without evidence, without a real threat. With only one Republican voting against him in both Houses.

“What are you going to do about it?”

I have no idea. I am scared. Are you?

He is just getting going. Imagine the freedom he’ll feel if reelected.
