In These Troubled Times that Call for Unity, Trump Campaign Just Called Joe Biden a ‘Rotting Corpse’

Presumably, there are actual adults running the Trump campaign, and those actual adults just issued this tweet which does nothing but lessen us as a nation, and should – should – humiliate Donald Trump, if he was capable of humiliation, or shame. But since he is not, I suppose they felt free:

That is helpful.

Takes real gumption to call someone else a rotting corpse when Trump appears to be the one who refuses to take the coronavirus test.

This is still the United States of America, country of Jeffersonian democracy, founded by Washington, saved by Lincoln, rallied by FDR, and even inspired by Ronald Reagan, now we’re beset with Donald Trump, whose actions with respect to coronavirus are going to ensure we have a lot of rotting … going to ensure there is a lot of rot in government and across the nation.

The tweet didn’t go over well, as you might imagine:

I think this is the right response:

Trump sure did open himself up to some responses such as this one below:

And yes, it is appropriate to note that we have heard the White House say over and over that we must put partisanship aside, and yet this is what we get from them:

Given that it was the official campaign that put this out, I suppose it is fair to compare, and as such, their guy doesn’t do too well:

And honestly, I can’t think of a better way to sum this up than the perfect Sarah Silverman meme, because very few can tell you where to go or what to do with yourself once you get there like Sarah.

Yep. Captured my thoughts exactly.
