Moron Trump Just Admitted the Entire GOP Vote-Con: If It’s Easy to Vote, Republicans Can’t Win

One of the very few good things about having an uneducated, incurious and intellectually-inferior president is that one often gets the unbridled truth, purely by accident. It isn’t that Trump likes to tell the truth, but his idiocy makes it such that he says the quiet parts out loud occasionally.

Today, during Trump’s interview on Fox and Friends, Trump essentially admitted that making it easier for everyone to vote would preclude Republicans from winning, ever again.

And to quote from his statement further:

“They had things in there, you know, about Election days, and a, what you do …”

The Democrats had inserted provisions making it much easier for people to vote, especially if the pandemic continues, including voting by mail and other conveniences. The Republicans certainly couldn’t have that.

This is – of course – not news to anyone who has followed the issues in this country for the last ten years. Everyone knows that one of the primary Republican strategies in any election is to suppress the overall number of voters, particularly in areas with minorities. In any situation where “everyone could vote,” then one might well make it near impossible for a Republican to win.

It took Trump to say it out loud.

Note that Trump didn’t say “it would make it impossible to secure the election,” or “make the election unsafe,” or anything that could be considered “cover” for his objection.

No, his “objection” was fully partisan, it would make it impossible for Republicans to win – it’s right there on the table. He said the quiet part out loud. If the Democrats ever succeeded in protecting the vote and making it easy to vote, it would be nearly impossible to get a Republican elected ever again.

He actually told the truth.
