Nation Erupting in Furor Over the White House’s Resistance to Releasing Trump’s Coronavirus Test

At yesterday’s press conference, Donald Trump told the nation that he had not been tested for Coronavirus, then provided a bizarre note from his doctor stating that he need not take a test. Then, earlier today during his press conference, Trump stated that he had a test taken last night (the same night of the note and doctor?), but that the results would not be known for a “day or two.”

But according to a virologist on MSNBC, that doesn’t comport with reality, or at least not with the non-Trump reality, as related by Rawstory:

“Yeah, I mean, typically a test like this, what we call a RTP-CR [reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction] takes around two hours completely,” Fair explained. “And I would think if the president was tested, it would be a two-hour turn around on the assay.”

It has been over two hours.

This would be bizarre enough, even without having had Trump’s doctor issue a note (like a note you took to school upon being sick) explaining last night why Trump didn’t need a test:

It is very difficult to get around the fact that it appears that Trump is hiding something – even though it would be unfair to imply that he has the virus, especially given the fact that he was glad-handing everyone at the briefing last night, although – not to toot our own horn – we did ask; “Did Trump just infect his entire coronavirus task force?”

When it comes to the president’s health, especially with a disease like Coronavirus, which could require quarantining himself from others, the test IS a national priority. It makes no sense at all that we would still be waiting on the test a day and a half later.

How does one not conclude that something is being hidden?

One last strange aspect of all this. Rhonna McDaniel, the RNC Chair has tested positive for coronavirus after spending a weekend at … you guessed it, Mar-a-Lago. That makes three people over the last week who have tested positive for the virus after spending time at Mar-a-Lago. And we haven’t even counted Trump.

People are demanding answers:

I suspect that this one summarizes where I stand the best:

We better find out by the end of the day today, or at that point I think it would be very safe to be sure that something is very wrong.

Peace, y’all
