Trump Sparks New Health Concerns After He Was Seen Gasping for Breath and Looking Exhausted

It is not our job to dive into irresponsible speculation. We can, however, point out the obvious, and raise the same questions that are pinging around the internet and international media right now, based upon objectively observed behavior and characteristics, obvious to anyone watching, or reading current reports.

We noted last night that the Washington Post printed a bombshell out today about the White House’s inadequate response to the coronavirus, which included a quote from Mick Mulvaney who said that on the Wednesday press conference (as opposed to the Saturday one we’re addressing), Trump had not slept in two and a half days. Despite being the only one on the flight with a bedroom on the 18 hour trip home from India, Trump didn’t sleep, nor did he sleep upon returning the White House while preparing for the press conference.

Thus, after Trump recovered Thursday and Friday (we assume), we have to now ask why Trump was “gasping” for breath at the Saturday press conference. Did Trump stay up all night Friday? Why? Is he overly medicated or medicating himself?

We aren’t the only ones who noticed.

Right, a “somnolent” person is what one gets after catching up on “sleep” after so long without any, but why out of breath?

Out of breath, exactly, and off topic when he does get to the lectern to speak.

It is not irresponsible to just “ask.”

We cannot know from our position, if only someone would check, and explain to us the quick trip to the hospital months ago, and explain this back and forth between appearing sedated, and appearing “up.”

“Gasping” is the right word, and the nation does deserve some answers because we’re going into a critical period for OUR health and the nation’s economy.

We deserve answers, and we deserve them now. It is NOT normal for someone to not sleep for two and a half days, nor is it normal for a president to be gasping for breath just walking to the podium. We need organization and oversight, and a person who isn’t sharp cannot do it. (Set aside that Trump can’t do it at his best).

I think it is time to put some hard questions right at the White House.
