Suddenly Trump Becomes Bipartisan: Says Coronavirus Not JUST a Republican Disease and Calls for Unity
Maybe Trump has some scientific aptitude after all. Maybe this does come naturally to him. It would appear that, for the first time, he understands that coronavirus hits without regard for wealth, gender, sexual orientation, ratings, the drugs one uses, or even political party. Trump is finally starting to understand that the coronavirus can hit anyone who manages to cross ways with the virus.
Strangely, Trump announced his realization by making an announcement that only Trump could make. No, not an announcement from the Oval Office – lots of people could make that announcement, president or not. He made it through an oblivious Twitter post that was as obvious, and a month late as one can get. Check this out – breaking news:
Someone needs to tell the Democrats in Congress that CoronaVirus doesn’t care what party you are in. We need to protect ALL Americans!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 11, 2020
I believe that Democrats have been saying that very thing all along. Indeed, after closing the borders from China early, I am not sure that Trump has done much of anything to protect “all of Americans.” He certainly hasn’t canceled any events to this point. And at every opportunity, Trump has taken the chance to divide Americans by blaming the Democratic hoax, the media, an overreaction in the markets, and undoubtedly a dozen other things that I am forgetting.

Trump is also begging the media to unify the nation. Isn’t that Trump’s job?
The Media should view this as a time of unity and strength. We have a common enemy, actually, an enemy of the World, the CoronaVirus. We must beat it as quickly and safely as possible. There is nothing more important to me than the life & safety of the United States!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 11, 2020
What could possibly have led to the change in heart?
Well, it isn’t really a change in heart. If one notices, there is still a hint in there that it is Democrats who are to blame, and thus need to be told that the virus can hit anyone, even though it has done a miraculous job mostly hunting down conservatives, particularly at AIPAC and CPAC, where quite a few conservatives were exposed.
It didn’t go unnoticed on Twitter:
Then why are you still having rallies? Having people congregate in large groups is a danger to them just to inflate your overinflated ego.
— Peace and love (@AmericaFightHim) March 11, 2020
Yes, good question.
There simply is no end to you gas-lighting, is there?
— Slim Smith (@SlimSmith5) March 11, 2020
No, good point.
Imagine the guy that only protects people who are in his best interests telling people to protect ALL.
But here we are.

That is my point.
Below is a point that I damn well want an answer to:
https://twitter.com/MusicReviewer7/status/1237814163155623936
And here is what we want to know:
January 11th Chinese scientists posted genome of covid19. Within a week virologists in Berlin had produced the first diagnostic test for the disease. Why did we start so late? Why didn’t we accept WHO test? This administration botched, denied from beginning

I hope there is a criminal investigation into this.
So he’s admitting, amidst the usual racism and media blaming, that Trump has f’d it all up? https://t.co/qZxXe9Ysgv

Yep. Seemingly.
Now that the NCAA tournament will be played without crowds, it is a completely different feel to March. I am broken hearted. But I understand. The NCAA might not have needed to so if Trump had gotten involved and active enough. Now he wants people to know that the disease could hit Democrats, too.
What an asshole.
****
Peace, y’all
