Trump Has Not Said Anything About His Family Donating Hotel Rooms, Gift Cards, Money, Meals, Nothing …

Trump hasn’t mentioned once that his family, the one that owns all that hotel space that is currently empty, the restaurants within those hotels that are currently not serving guests, or all those clubs with all that space not being used, has been donated to help in this endeavor. He has not said anything about him or his family using their “billions” to donate to efforts to get the poor extra ATM cards, to serve meals to vets at home, not a single thing. He has said nothing that I have seen, and I have watched all his press conferences lately. You damn well know he is the type that would have it on banners outside the White House if he did donate money to any cause.

I want to see a reporter ask about whether he has donated a thing. I want to start a movement to demand that it be asked. I would even be interested in knowing whether work on the White House “tennis pavillion” has been put on hold, given we just spent trillions bailing everyone out. I want someone to ask.

Why?

Because everyone else is suffering, and all are doing something.

His answer matters. It is an indication as to how much he is invested in improving the situation, especially someone who says he has that much extra money around. He has a 757, could that be put to use? He has that sprawling historical monument down at Mar-a-Lago. What about a few of his currently empty hotels? Despite some rumors, he has enough money available to donate, somewhere. He has enough money that anyone with similar wealth would be donating something no matter how inadequate.

You would almost think that he donate just to get his approval ratings up, even if it wasn’t out of empathy. And like I said, he’d talk about it every ten minutes.

But he hasn’t said anything. Nothing. I am willing to bet my entire stimulus check that he hasn’t donated a thing, or anything more than an almost accidental amount. It is not in his DNA to give money to people in need. His entire modus operandi is to take money from people caught in the con, whether it is from actual people or the banks that used to loan him money. He takes, he doesn’t give.

I want a reporter to ask. I want him to have to stand there and stumble over himself, knowing that he needs to lie or offer something so vague about “looking at something.” Maybe he would talk about him not having time to think about it – while he’s been tweeting about the media, talking to Tom Brady, etc. I want him to have to answer.

It doesn’t matter that we already know the answer. That is beside the point. It doesn’t matter that we suspect he’s nowhere near as rich as he says. This man has said it’s costing him billions to be president, surely that means he has billions (Wink). It needs to be asked because someone without an ounce of empathy cannot lead us through this.

I want a reporter to ask. I want reporters to ask his entire team of wealthy people around him, Mnuchin, Devos, etc. Does his team have any empathy? Have they even looked into it?

Pass this along, make it viral. Tweet, use Facebook, get a movement going. Ask what he’s done to show he cares, besides play president.
