Trump Walks Off and Refuses to Answer Questions after Calling for the Media to Apologize to Him at Coronavirus Presser
Donald Trump urged Americans not to hoard food on Sunday during a White House press conference that came just minutes after the Federal Reserve announced new steps to shield the American economy from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
“You don’t have to buy so much,” Trump said. “Take it easy. Relax.”
In brief remarks, Trump cautioned against panic buying and said that food supply chains remained intact. He noted that earlier in the day he had met with executives from consumer and grocery companies including Target, Campbell’s and Costco.
“They have asked me to say, ‘Could you buy a little but less please.’” Trump said. “I thought I would never hear that from a retailer.”
Trump then addressed the Google fiasco. On Friday Trump said Google was building a website that would help people determine if they needed testing. It turns out that was news to Google.

Then somehow, after I am guessing following a bunch of frenzied calls from the White House, Google announced they would build the site after all. Trump used that as a way to attack the media, and even went so far as hinting he deserved an apology.
Trump appeared at the podium where he slammed the media for “FAKE NEWS” even though they didn’t report fake news.
"I don't know where the press got their fake news," says Trump, who falsely claimed on Friday Google had 1700 engineers working on a nationwide website that would be ready quickly. Then he suggested he wants an apology. Then on to listing heads of corporations.

BREAKING: Trump just called press “fake news” during a coronavirus press conference, for calling out Trump for lying about Google making a coronavirus website. Trump needs to implement media distancing for himself. He is a liar who shouldn’t talk about the coronavirus ever again.

Remember that Trump is LYING.
Trump thanks Google's communications team for having "substantiated" what he said at the press conference. He bashes the "fake news" and says the press should apologize…even though the press correctly reported what Google said and Google only later changed its statement.

Trump said the “head” of Google called him to apologize. Does any actually believe this?
Trump says "the head of Google" called his team "and apologized." (Please exercise caution with any Trump claim about someone calling him and saying something helpful to him, especially one involving "the head of" something.)

What a nasty fucker:
President Trump on the reporting disputing that Google will be helping with a Nationwide Coronavirus Website:

Then then bounced from the press conference because he said he had to make some calls. He just didn’t want to stand there and not be the center of attention.
'We're doing, I think, really, really well… a lot of good things are going to happen" says President Trump at #coronavirus press conference.
