Obama Just Eviscerated Trump — While Also Setting an Example as to How to be a Leader
What I wouldn’t give to have Obama managing this pandemic.
It seems that Obama has seen enough from the sidelines, seen enough mishandling, and mismanagement and couldn’t hold his tongue any longer. He let loose and talked about what he believed to be the single most egregious “mistake” made by the Trump administration, and he didn’t even need to name names:
BREAKING: President Obama essentially said Trump made the biggest mistake you can in these situations by misinforming the public. Obama said the biggest mistake leaders “can make in these situations is to misinform.” Obama is clearly talking about Trump and Trump’s cult members.

Of course, he is talking about Trump, and of course, he is talking about what Trump has done from the very beginning. Remember, “it is contained?” Remember “it is the flu?” Remember how it will “disappear like a miracle?” Hell, you don’t even need to “remember,” you can just think about the last time Trump talked about hydroxychloroquine as “try it, you might like it” without any medical study backing it up.
Finally a factual, trustworthy voice of reason.

It isn’t some genius insight. When dealing with something that can cause a panic that is worse than the underlying problem, you tell the truth. Thus, when you have news – be it good or bad, you will be believed.
But there’s no question who and what Obama is calling out here. Wouldn’t it be nice, now that the Democratic primaries are over, along with the nation being led astray by a mad man very into self-promotion if Obama were to take on a larger role? Get out and be the peoples’ representative in all this? Call out the mistakes and the lies?
Mayors have been working hard to help us get through this pandemic, and they’ll have just as big a task to help people through hard times ahead. I spent some time with many of them today to thank them for their efforts, and asked them to keep up the good work. https://t.co/YzqPMPo8m2

He probably won’t do it. Obama respects tradition almost to a fault, and it’s traditional to not criticize the president. Though, to be fair, this president himself has thrown out nearly every “tradition.”
President @BarackObama shared these words of wisdom with mayors today👇🏻
“Speak the truth. Speak it clearly. Speak it w/compassion. Speak it w/empathy for what folks are going through. The biggest mistake any us can make in these situations is to misinform—https://t.co/M2uOeFQ45M
