Ann Coulter Unloads On Trump: ‘He’s a Shallow and Disloyal Retard, a Whining Blame-Shifting Fruitcake’

Under no circumstances is Ann Couter a redeeming individual. She is not one of the “never Trump” conservatives that we can take under our wings as “good people,” just a little politically misguided. Ann Coulter is not a good person, nor is she on “our” side in anything. But apparently she isn’t on Trump’s “side” of things, either.

She is on Jeff Sessions’ side.

Coulter says she is actually trying to keep the Republican Senate and avoid another “Roy Moore fiasco.” Coulter is referring to the Alabama Republican Senate primary between Jeff Sessions, the former senator and attorney general (the one who, improbably, now looks principled), and Tommy Tuberville, an out of work college football coach who used to coach Auburn University. The winner will take on Alabama’s Democratic senator Doug Jones. There is real fear in the Republican party that they could actually screw this up.

Sessions is the safer candidate because Alabamans know him and … I honestly don’t see Session’s appeal. Meanwhile, Tuberville is an idiot borrowing on his name and football’s importance in the state. But Sessions is now considered persona non grata among the Trumpers and the Republican party is now almost synonymous with “Trumper,” but not quite. Alabamans have managed to give themselves another Faustian bargain which is richly deserved. Whichever direction the Republicans turn, their thirst for purity has led them to a minority position.

This has Coulter upset. Trump won’t support the logical choice, Jeff Sessions, because Trump sees him as “disloyal” and Trump his like Mussolini or Saddam, no one can be “disloyal.”

Now, Coulter is demonstrating once again why she’s such a reprehensible human being. There are so many stronger words she could have used to describe Trump without offending people who have far more dignity than him. So – again – we’re not supporting her. We’re simply pointing out the red on red escalation, kind of like watching two snakes fight on Discovery Channel.

It wasn’t Coulter’s first shot across Trump’s bow, either:

Actually, she is correct in that. It doesn’t make her a good human being. I suppose it’s a lot like watching two snakes fight on CNN.
