This Heartbreaking Ad Should Ruin Trump — Shows How He Golfed and Played While Coronavirus Spread

The personal story is what makes this ad so powerful, a woman telling the story of her father, a good man of 78 who had broken his hip, and thus was recovering in a rehab facility. She never saw him again once he went in.

Juxtaposed against this gut-wrenching story – only one of 93,000 stories, of what will be 180,000 by November, if we’re lucky, is Trump fcking around playing president. (I am sorry, this ad has me so angry!). He is at the Daytona 500, he’s talking to cheerleaders, he’s talking to Hannity during the Super Bowl, he’s going to India and golfing, golfing, golfing, his fat ass off, as I said “playing president,” the only part he likes.

And the clips, that it was known that COVID was coming and would sweep through the world, not just this country, that it was out of China and thus would be here, eventually. We at this site wrote our first COVID article on January 30th, in which we noted that Trump fired the White House pandemic team in 2018 and it may make all the difference. Senators dumped stocks illegally – insider trading – in mid-February. We KNEW.

Trump golfed.

Her father died. Alone.

As regular readers know, my father is an intensive care specialist, and with 40 years of experience, he’s seen a shitload of tragedy and become pretty hardened by it. Not with this. He continually says; “They all die alone.” That is the sad sad fact that we need to continue reiterating.

Trump’s presidency has cost lives. Those lives are not a number, whether 93,000 now, or 100,000 in six days, or 200,000 by the election, each and every one (it could be us, no guarantees) is a person, someone with loved ones, not a number.

Trump fcking golfed and did all he could do to deny that there could be a problem, wanting to keep the stock market up. In other words, Trump did just as promised. He ran the country exactly like he ran his businesses, recklessly, and now we’re falling apart with dead – they die alone – littering the path. He still doesn’t give a fck.

Tell their stories. Spread this everywhere.
