Trump’s Sends the Most Desperate and Cringeworthy Tweet Yet: ‘Governors’ High Ratings Are Because of Me!’

Every once in awhile, I like to entertain the thought that Donald Trump isn’t the only one in control of his Twitter account.

It might be possible – those crazy Russians are awfully smart – that some of Trump’s “controllers” have the ability to tweet in his name … that’s just me making shit up.

But somehow, someone has to explain how it is that a man who is the president of the United States could feel so needy, so small, so vulnerable and jealous, as to issue this tweet:

We know that Trump is furious that his approval ratings and his numbers are diving. We reported last night that Trump is considering firing his entire campaign staff because he is falling behind Biden. So we know that Trump is extremely sensitive to his declining poll numbers. Now he wants you to know that none of those governors would have high poll numbers if it weren’t for him! So if you approve of what your governor is doing – and America generally does – then you need to give Trump some approval points, too!!

The man doesn’t seem to understand that one of the reasons the governors find themselves so popular so suddenly is that people are yearning for leadership. We are in the midst of a crisis and want someone to stand up and say “I’ll do it, I’ll own it” and not hear “I take no responsibility.”

As per usual, Trump wants something for free. The governors’ approval ratings are high because, generally speaking, they’re doing things that Trump isn’t doing, primarily taking responsibility.

The net had some thoughts about it:

Yes, and it is particularly deadly with respect to Trump.

Yes, very much.

He is so transparent:

We will be covering the above.

This tweet sums up everything we’ve written:

****

Peace, y’all
