Stephen Miller Is Preparing White House Speech on Race Relations and People are Appalled

Stephen Miller, the architect of the policy which put immigrant children in cages, the man who was filmed as a high school student decrying the evils of immigration, the same person who told us we cannot deny the power of the president to implement the changes Trump demanded, the guy who some suspect of showing white power hand signs in pictures, yes – that Stephen Miller – is purportedly writing a soon to be given White House speech on race relations, according to American Urban Radio Network:

The White House is preparing a speech on race relations written by Stephen Miller, who crafted the Trump Administration’s immigration plan along the southern border with Mexico.

Vice President Mike Pence recently hosted prominent Black Conservatives at the White House to discuss race relations. However, the administration did not reach out to civil rights organizations including the NAACP, National Action Network, and National Urban League.

This is the same Stephen Miller about whom the New Yorker had a deep-dive profile that included this astounding paragraph:

By the end of November, Miller was back in the news, though not by choice. The Southern Poverty Law Center acquired and published hundreds of e-mails that Miller had exchanged, between 2015 and 2016, with editors at Breitbart. They included links to articles on the white-supremacist Web site vdare, as well as an enthusiastic reference to “The Camp of Saints,” a racist French novel about the ravages of immigration. In one e-mail, Miller approvingly forwarded an article arguing that the U.S. should deport immigrants on trains “to scare out the people who want to undo our country.” In Congress, there were calls for his resignation, but only from Democrats.

Demands to resign came only from Democrats because, by that point, Republicans had wholly fallen in line. No one dared oppose Trump, and with Trump, racism is part of the program, a feature, not a bug.

Reaction to Miller drawing up the speech was about what you’d surmise, knowing the guy:

Other than the fact it’s not funny, yes, that is true.

Exactly, and it goes on and on.
