Americans Horrified to Learn Jared Kushner Scrapped a National Testing Plan Because Only Blue Staters Were Dying

Only Jared F’ing Kushner and Donald Trump could find a way to make a pandemic political. It shouldn’t surprise us, and yet the deep and malignant cynicism residing in these people continues to shock us, no matter how many times we’ve heard similar things or feel it in our bones. Trump and Kushner have focused upon their political and economic lives (there is no difference) the entire tenure of Trump’s presidency, and thus it makes sense that COVID would be viewed through the exact same lens.

When COVID hit the United States early – as you’ll recall – it was primarily a Washington, California, New York, New Jersey, and New Orleans (a heavily black city) problem. It was the bluest of diseases. So why bother?

That seemed to be their attitude and their approach. They didn’t create a national response because the disease didn’t impact “their part” of the nation. There has never been a president who has ever simply abandoned whole sections of the country as “against him” and thus not worthy of his attention or care – never.

Until these guys.

From Vanity Fair:

Most troubling of all, perhaps, was a sentiment the expert said a member of Kushner’s team expressed: that because the virus had hit blue states hardest, a national plan was unnecessary and would not make sense politically. “The political folks believed that because it was going to be relegated to Democratic states, that they could blame those governors, and that would be an effective political strategy,” said the expert.

That logic may have swayed Kushner. “It was very clear that Jared was ultimately the decision maker as to what [plan] was going to come out,” the expert said.

Holy sh*t, that little ffff, how many have died because “a national plan was unnecessary and would not make “sense politically?”

They are playing with people’s lives and we have proof, now, that they’ll throw away thousands of lives and blame someone else – if it makes sense politically.

Jared Kushner is a monster. Period.
