Mike Pence: My Wife, Karen, is an Expert on Coronavirus School Policy

Vice President Mike Pence leads this nation’s Coronavirus task force. Of course, this means that he consults with the nation’s leading epidemiologists and, we presume, could consult with the nation’s leading experts in education. (Education is a science, by the way, studied, tested, researched). In theory, Mike Pence has significant sway on how the federal government will respond to the decisions regarding education. Whether that is true or not is a non-issue, because Mike Pence says the “best expert he knows” on COVID school policy “is [his] wife … (wait for it) … KAREN!

Did we mention that he consults with people who have studied these issues their entire lives? Oh, and of course, Mike Pence can’t say anything without mentioning that it is “through President Trump’s leadership.” We wonder if Pence says it when alone with … KAREN.

“You’re seeing the president provide leadership,” Pence told reported Wednesday, “and what we are providing for the White House coronavirus task force is partnership with the governors and the state health officials, because we’ve just got to get our kids back.”

No, we’re not seeing leadership, and there is no partnership, only a deranged dictator whose “leadership” is responsible for where we stand now, the saddest, dumbest, nation on earth with COVID.

“I have to tell you,” he said, “the best expert I know on this topic is my wife, Karen, and she spoke at the summit yesterday very compellingly about how a lot of our kids are hurting out there. They’re struggling with loneliness, with social isolation. The American Academy of Pediatrics spoke about that, a very forceful statement from pediatricians across the country that said we got to get our kids back into school.”

Damned right our kids are hurting out here. They are struggling with loneliness and isolation. We are sure that pediatricians across the country want our kids back in school, just the second it is safe enough to make sense to do so! Since he’s not listening to specialists in other fields, why does he cherry-pick a few pediatricians? We strongly believe that pediatricians desperately want kids back in school and that’s why we need masks, isolation, suppression of the virus, kind of like what Europe’s done. Because we want them in school!

It is because these people believe that they can listen to their wives while ignoring specialists that we’re in the position we’re in now, where cases are reaching all-time highs.

Unbelievable.
