Veteran Reporter April Ryan Says Trump Looks to Be in Decline, ‘Not Just Mentally But Physically’

We have reported a lot lately on the many speeches and press conferences in which Trump seemed to have lost all energy and the will to press on. Last week in his White House press conferences, Trump appeared barely awake, slurring words badly, and lost himself in several answers to reporters. Playboy’s White House correspondent Brian Karem said that the mood in the White House was defeatist, that Trump knew he was getting beat, and that America could “stick a fork in him” because Trump was done.

But over the weekend at his New Jersey country club, Trump suddenly had amazing energy, bouncing through a press conference filled with sniffs and sweat. He challenged reporters, was pissy and combative. The change in behavior had former Trump-insider Noel Casler tweeting to the world that Trump had the advantage of having the NYPD over to his club – they had access to stuff Trump likes, Casler alleged.

The newest pictures of Trump show him looking terrible. He has put on weight, his face looks ragged and puffy, his hair flails around. Additionally, neither the White House nor the Trump family, have put out any information on the cause of Robert Trump’s death, which is odd, given that Robert was younger than Trump. In speaking about his brother’s death, Trump said that they knew Robert’s death was coming for some time, implying that Robert suffered from some kind of chronic, debilitating, condition. Robert Trump’s cause of death is irrelevant, but Trump’s underlying health is not. Americans need more questions asked about Trump’s health.

Now April Ryan puts it all together. She questions whether Trump is physically and mentally capable of continuing on in the campaign and as president. On Don Lemon’s show, she called Trump out as in decline.

“This president does not like to be challenged. We Black women have gone through too much to not call it out. I’m going to call it out. Today, this president looks like he’s in decline, not just mentally but physically.”

She later affirmed that she damn well did mean to take her stand:

Yes. And George Conway tweeted something similar earlier in the week. Conway promised us that Trump would only get worse, and added, “ask any mental health professional.”

Something is happening, people are now speaking up in traditional media, something seems wrong with Trump.
